BREAKING: Stuart Irby in wreck.

**BREAKING: MUST CREDIT JACKSON JAMBALAYA**

Stuart Irby was in a wreck this afternoon on Old Canton Road by Colonial Country Club. Mr. Irby was driving a Mazda Miata and hit another car from behind, which in turn, hit the car in front of it. The car was totaled and other cars only suffered light damage. Mr. Irby had a valid driver's license at the time of the wreck as his driving privileges were never suspended. Sources close to the investigation have also told JJ no toxicology tests were given and that there were no injuries reported. JJ can also report Karen Irby was not in the car and the same sources have confirmed she was at home when the wreck occurred. It is not known whether any charges will be filed against Mr. Irby.

No toxicology? JPD mails in another investigation.

No maybe Stuart can be one of the JFP's Most Intriguing for 2010!

Anonymous said...

You are in denial little boy. Wapt BROKE IT AT 4:00

Anonymous said...

He's not competent enough to testify at karens's trial but he IS competent enough to have a DL?

Amazing.

OK, obviously not competent enough to drive, hence wreck. And, his fault. If you're traveling so close to the car in front of you that you hit it (regardless of what it does) it's your fault. Drivers ED 101. It's why you don't tailgate, Stuart.

And no tox report. Of course.

I hope everybody in that wreck cops some soft tissue injuries. 'My neck...oh my aching neck!'

Sheriff campaign contribution strikes again.

The whole family needs to be run out of town. Course, this'll probably improve his popularity in the circles he runs in. Wonder if Karen will get a discount at Maison Weiss for this?

Anonymous said...

The WAPT story has next to no details. 5:17PM is an asshole.

Anonymous said...

I hope everybody in that wreck cops some soft tissue injuries. 'My neck...oh my aching neck!'

One call, that's all!

As horrific as the previous accident was - resulting in the death of two promising doctors - have we forgotten that the DA has charged Ms. Irby with aggravated assault on her husband, meaning DA Robert Smith has already determined he is a victim? Unless you think the DA was wrong there, why all the snide remarks and/or suspect innuendo regarding him and the JPD?
Whatever your answer to that...In light of the fact that nobody was injured in this accident, how about showing just a tiny bit of compassion for what the Irby family (including their children) have also already endured?
Just saying......

Anonymous said...

What WAPT has wrong is today's wreck location is closer to where Stuart got pulled over that fateful night (before Sheriff Campaign Contribution allowed the sloshed Karen to drive home) than it is to the accident scene.

Anonymous said...

Leprachaun,

You don't have any facts in your story. You are a blogger. You never admit when you get it wrong. 16 smoked you.

Kingfish said...

Yup. You are right. No facts at all. None. Nada. Zero. Zilch. I never ever admit when I'm wrong on this site either. I humbly submit myself to your wisdom and penetrating observations.

Anonymous said...

WAPT has next to no facts JFP loser.

Anonymous said...

I would save the crowing for when you truly break the story. This is not one of those times...

Kingfish said...

Maybe we should be asking given his brain injuries why he was still allowed to drive.

I'd be crying whiplash Fred Sanford style and suing some doctors.

Anonymous said...

There has to be some sort of honorary JFP 'Best of' in all of this for the Irbys.

Anonymous said...

The more this goes on the more I think there needs to be serious action against Jackson.

I'm thinking boycott. Forget buy local. Drive to Flowood or Brandon and shop there instead. Let local Jackson merchants know what you're doing and why. Somebody pays Jackson 'public servants'.

Anonymous said...

Wasn't it a little early in the afternoon for Stuart to be headed to the JCC for cocktails?

Anonymous said...

Uhhh what the hell did he have a driver's license for? I thought he was all fucked up.

Anonymous said...

Uh oh, may have a PTSD incident from
the other wreck he doesn't remember

KaptKangaroo said...

WAPT didn't break crap. I gave the story up from WJTV off twitter at 4:27 when I left it on this blog and will add, JJ has more FACTS, FACTS, FACTS. The media outlets are scrambling to catch up.

stilettoGOP said...

Ok, let's address what we're all thinking.. a Miata??

Anonymous said...

Hi ..it's 5:17pm again. You're wrong. You have no confirmed facts. You just say it. If you are wrong, you don't correct it. 16 had it during their first at 4. I know because I was actually by a T.v. when I saw it. Then I checked Clarion Ledger, 3 and then you ...nobody else had it.

Kingfish said...

Looks like our little troll is back. Maybe I've got it because I've got some really good sources.

Keep it up. Within a day or two you are going to look really stupid.

again.

KaptKangaroo said...

I'm gonna ignore the JFP freaks and address the real issue - A MIATA??? Agreed. If I had his kinda grease I would be driving a tricked out CAMARO. Not a big US car fan, but damn thats a fine auto!

Ladd, get a life. Your pathetic attempt to join an intellectual conversation only lessens your continued diatribe approach to life.

Anonymous said...

Did you check 12 Donna? I only claim its you because I feel you must be the only troll on a site like this that actually sits on the couch checking NO FACTS and blabbering....go back to the bon-bons.

Anonymous said...

Can't we all just be thankful that no one was injured or killed?
As for the Miata, do you have to drive a $100k car just because you're rich? If I'm not mistaken, it was his daughter's car. But, I do think those are dangerous cars.
And, as far as frivilous lawsuits and people who really aren't injured, don't we have enough of those?

Kingfish said...

I'm trying to work Fred Sanford in here. Work with me a little bit.

Anonymous said...

Ok, I'm coming for you, Esther.

Kingfish said...

Its Elizabeth, Elizabeth you ugly-eyed heathen.

KaptKangaroo said...

Look I'm wondering if a MIATA indicates other problems...C'mon you actually are gonna bring up money, I mean if you had the means wouldn't you, affected by extreme mental damage, buy a muscle car? Go preach somewhere else.

Kingfish said...

Nice day. Probably wanted to drive with the top down. I just don't trust cars that small.

Hookah said...

Stuart gets around more than Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan for someone who was FAR TO devastated to testify in his wife's depraved heart murder trial. How will his attorney explain this one to the judge? Keep an eye on Nick's to see if they all discuss this over a champagne brunch tomorrow.

Anonymous said...

Are you calling me ugly, purple haze? Forgive me if I have a job and don't watch TV 24/7. I haven't watched that show since I was 10.
KK-they've had that miata for years. I guess it's just a fun car to drive once in a while.

Kingfish said...

I was making fun of the show, not you. was in good fun. ;-)

Anonymous said...

Ok, I forgive you :) That show is still hilarious. A classic.

Anonymous said...

And Kaptain, yes, I would buy a muscle car or maybe 3 if I had the money, brain damage or not. But, Stuart does as well. He had a really nice Porsche a few years ago.

Anonymous said...

Hey .. no troll here. Not a JFP lady named Donna. Just a lady with a bar number here. I checked the WAPT website and the time stamp on this story is 4:07 pm. That does appear to be first if you got it from WJTV at 4:27. Don't hate the messenger.

Kingfish said...

Got a call from a source at 3:45 about the wreck. Was in my car so I couldn't post from my blackberry and spent the next 45 minutes running down sources as I wanted to get some real facts out, not just a headline saying Stuart Irby got in a wreck. Since my post had considerably more information, I'll stick with the breaking angle. CL and TV stations do it all the time. I'm not going to begrudge WAPT anything either.

Anonymous said...

Just to be clear, was anyone seriously injured? Or, mildly injured?

Kingfish said...

Read the post.

Thanks. Sorry. Long, stressful day.

Anyway here's a little comic relief for all of us.. and YES we're all very glad everyone was ok this time, thank GOD, seriously.. but I took a 5 second break from supervising math homework and found this because I had no clue what KF was talking about above. Had to laugh a little..

The Miata was his young daughter's car. Even if I had tons of money, I'm not buying a high performance sports car for a teenager. Anyway, the Miata is dead.

Is KF a great guitar player? Just because you share a name with a great guitar player doesn't make you one.

Anonymous said...

Miata is a throwaway car. High performance? Only high performance is by those driving it.

Anonymous said...

I didn't call the Miata a high performance car. I meant it was an appropriate car for a teenaged girl. I said I would not buy a high performance car, i.e., mustang, porsche, etc. for a teenager. These people who buy their kids $50,000 BMWs when they're still in high school are stupid.

Kingfish said...

A Miata is a girlie car.

By the way, has anyone noticed something about the media coverage tonight?

Anonymous said...

Issue: Given the circumstances of recent with Karen and Stuart would the JPD folks risk no toxicology? My guess is absolutely, unequivocally, yep. Where is the free press? Why do they continue to allow privileged few to continue to denigrate the downtown artsy folks...Where are you Mrs. Ladd? Where are you? Where are...you....pwaeeessseee take back our city for us...then get off the farm and do some real work.

Kingfish said...

Farmville sucks in everyone.

Anonymous said...

The Miata was his daughter's car that he gave her while in college. Then Stuart let one of his trashy girlfriends (the one who sold drug paraphernalia at the Underground in the Mall..Jean Hee) drive it for a while. Guess it has been in the garage with all the other cars he owns.

Kingfish said...

I'm leaving this one up because I remember going into the Underground once and seeing said paraphenalia.

5:26 At least KF can spell " leprechaun".

5:23 Compassion for what the Irbys have gone through? Sorry, when people risk their own lives and in the process, harm others, I just don't have any. The Irby's troubles are of their OWN MAKING!

Yeah, I feel sorry for their children as they , too, are innocent victims of their parents' irresponsible behavior. But, I do NOT feel sorry for adult enabling family members and " friends" and I especially do not feel sorry for Stuart or Karen!

But, feeling sorry for Karen and Stuart is no different than feeling sorry for someone hopped up on drugs and looking for drug money to feel better who breaks into a house and is shot in the process.

Anonymous said...

Good grief, everybody stay off County Line Road. These idiots are a menace.

Anonymous said...

To "11:01 p.m." from "5:26 p.m." re your response to my earlier comment...
First, AGAIN, my comment and question to those people clearly taking pleasure in someone else's tragedy was not only to ask why there was not even a little compassion to the Irby family in its entirety, (including the children who are of reading age, you know) but also why the hostility toward the Irbys as a whole when the DA has charged Ms. Irby alone and even indicted her for the aggravated assault against Mr. Irby in the horrible accident - hence, making Mr. Irby a victim - though you'd never know it from reading these comments!
Just remember: for all that has happened and all the Irby family still has facing them with the criminal charges and civil lawsuit. Interestingly, despite your RIDICULOUS analogy there at the end(best you could do? REALLY??), you and everyone else sitting in judgment failed to mention that two people are dead from that accident in early 2009, and Ms. Irby will have to live with that the rest of her life which will very likely be in prison for committing what is more accurately vehicular manslaughter than the charge against her. Nevertheless, it is a seriously LONG prison sentence in MS.
AGAIN (and if you would actually read and/or pay attention)... there were no injuries in the accident today. It was a very common type of accident that almost everyone has been involved in at some point, and MOST of these types are not, in fact, drug or alcohol related accidents. Since I know NO facts regarding the officer's investigation of the accident (and neither do you), I won't make bald suppositions and conclusions but will wait for the facts. I am pretty confident that if he was incapacitated at the time, it will be determined through the investigation. However, generally in these types of accidents, absent serious injuries and an articulable reasonable suspicion to believe the driver is under the influence of any mood altering substance, resulting in probable cause, I have never known any law enforcement agency to attempt toxicology reports. Why? Let’s see – could it be because it’s unconstitutional?
I was simply hoping to see someone actually have a compassionate bone in his or her body to think about the family and the children before taking such pleasure in posting jabs about them on the internet. Clearly, there aren't too many folks around Jackson familiar with that concept or whose family has been through any kind of personal hell of any kind.
Believe me, there won't be ANY winners in this story, and people's lives, from the accused to the victims' families, will NEVER be the same at the end of it.
As for the Irby family, just remember - "but for the grace of God, there go I."

You obviously don't know Stuart. He has been playing with fire for years. Drinking, driving, hanging out in bars, rehab....he isn't Mr. Innocent. He has made his bed and now is lying in it.

He has been playing with fire for years. Drinking, driving, hanging out in bars, rehab....

+ Banging his friends' wives.

Kingfish said...

I imagine the D.A. will want to revisit this issue with Judge Green.

Autogyro said...

I don't know what kind of driver Stuart is since the wreck, but prior to that he had a reputation as an extremely aggressive, impatient driver who was ticketed or warned on a number of occasions. He was especially prone to speed on his motorcycle, and was bad to pass on the shoulder on the interstate when his progress was impeded by other traffic.

Anonymous said...

well of course he was- the laws don't apply to the Irbys- Warned of what? No more campaign money!!!

Anonymous said...

ALLEGEDLY.....(from a "source" on the scene), stuart appeared "stoned out of his gourd". after the cops got there, they put him in the back of the cop car and nobody got near him after that except for a blonde woman who showed up and took control of things and his lawyer t-cal who arrived on the scene 7 minutes after the wreck. stuart also apparently tried to "settle" with victims on the spot before all this extra help showed up.

i don't know this "source" very well but credibility is high. i'm also thinking that stuart might want to hire a driver from this point on.

Anonymous said...

Mississippi "justice" continues.

I see no one who is "taking pleasure" in anyone's tragedy. What I do see are a lot of variations on a very basic theme: Karma is one bigass Bitch.

Anonymous said...

11:57 I heard the same thing.....from someone on the scene too!

Anonymous said...

well now we know why he can't testify-no memory d/t being stoned all the time!

Anonymous said...

I know! Why don't we take a poll and see who else, currently posting, has a Bar Number?

Kingfish said...

No one takes pleasure, trust me.

Anonymous said...

If you call the main number at the JCC they'll route you to the bar.

Anonymous said...

Good one 2:18

Anonymous said...

Good suggestion to take a poll! However, from the genius-type comments, including those offering "reliable" information from people they admittedly, hardly know, I think it's pretty clear how few have any knowledge of law, much less a law degree and bar number!!
GOOD Lawyers tend to wait for factual information and reliable evidence even if they would like take action against someone even if based upon a gut instinct!

Anonymous said...

Damn you are anal 3:35 PM. It is all anonymous.

Anonymous said...

???? 3:37 PM? Was simply stating the truth regarding the old "presumption of innocence" and not buying into rumor. It may be anonymous, but it is also the potential jury pool for the upcoming criminal and civil trials. If this is any indication, seems to me, the jury may have already rendered a verdict.

Anonymous said...

I thought you were hip to GOOD lawyers? A GOOD lawyer wouldn't fret about nothing written on this or any other blog when it comes to jury pools or pre-trial pub.

Anonymous said...

Indeed, no pleasure but a lot of anger and concern!
Does someone else have to be injured or die before those in law enforcement and the judicial system act to protect the community?

Anonymous said...

Obviously, there is no getting through to people who have already made up their minds to villify an entire family name based on past alleged behavior and rumors regarding Stuart Irby.
I don't know Stuart Irby and have heard rumors as well, but as was mentioned before, that is NOT evidence of guilt in either car wreck. AND, I still have no idea what crime he has been charged with in either case to justify these postings.
I don't have any interest in this case and in fact DUI related charges, like the one against Karen Irby, are cases I refuse to defend because my family and I were devastated by a perpetrator when I was a very little girl.
Regardless, I am "hip to good lawyers", and if you think blogs like this don't affect a jury pool or once again, the Irbys kids, then you're callous or naïve.

Anonymous said...

Nothing alleged about Stuart's banging of his friend's wife while his friend was sleeping elsewhere in his own home. Part of the court record. Sorry.

Anonymous said...

I bet Stuart has a bar stool number too.

Anonymous said...

552. Is that wrong? If ya can't screw your buddies wife, who else is going to leave you alone with her while you sleep?

Anonymous said...

5:44 You obviously don't know Karen and Stuart. There's nothing " alleged" about their past. It's well documented in court records and police reports.

THEY brought shame to their family name and no one has "villified" other family members.

If you are indeed an attorney, then you should know that Karen has been treated unlike others in fatal DUI accidents.

I would have remained silent had 1) Karen's license and passport been taken away 2) there hadn't been PR pieces falsely extolling Karen and Stuart as virtuous victims and 3) I'd seen one whit of remorse from either one.

Hookah said...

The poll question should read:

If for some effed up reason you had to be adopted, would you rather be adopted by the (a) Irby Family, (b) Bell Family or (c) Todd Stauffer/Donna Ladd?

Anonymous said...

Michael. You left out (D). There HAS to be a "No effin way I'm leaving with any of these folks."

Even Oliver Twist wasn't so unfortunate as to have these limited choices.

Anonymous said...

glad that wlbt, gave U Credit !!!

Anonymous said...

One thing that can't be rebuked is Stuart Irby has been in and out of rehab for abusing alcohol. And, the word on the street is Stuart and an X would get pulled over often by the JPD for speeding after he had been drinking, he flashed his Official Hinds Country Sheriff badge and would be released. And, there was a car accident which involved a JPD police car. No ticket but damage to police car and Stuart paid the damages for the repair of the police car. If this doesn't tell you something about EXTRA SPECIAL treatment, nothing will.

Anonymous said...

In one case in Rankin County years ago, vehicular manslaughter charge only brought 2 months jail time. I wouldn't consider that a very long jail sentence. MS justice depends on who you know and how much money you have.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone have a copy of Gary Pettus's puff piece. The CL wants to charge for it.

Kingfish said...

Go look in the comments on one of the early posts I made. The story was pasted in one of the comments.

Autogyro said...

Anon @ 12:51 - I believe it was Stuart's ex-girlfriend who would flash her HCSO badge. To my knowledge, Stuart isn't a member of the Sheriff's Reserve, nor an honorary deputy.

Anonymous said...

CL finally has a story on it today:

http://www.clarionledger.com/article/20100121/NEWS/1210345/Irby+driving+raises+issues

How old is that pic of stuart they posted? The 'family pic' the puff piece used, he looked like her father.

The whole family is apparently a menace, authorities should step in before someone is killed.

...OH wait!

Anonymous said...

Gary Pettus' article copied here:

Anonymous said...

In light of what we know now, could stuart's ex be brought up on charges of some sort?

This seems to be a big 'let them eat cake' group. Or in this case, 'let them burn and die'.

Autogyro said...

I doubt it, 10:33. That was a number of years ago.

Anonymous said...

Does the Ex still have a badge?

Talk about abuse of power. Now I know how the French peasants felt before they stormed the Bastille.

I wonder when karma will actually show up at the correct address for the Irby's.

Who knows though, maybe he was speeding to teach Sunday school, or some lonely wife the finer tenets of Christian compassion.

Or something.

Anonymous said...

How much will it cost me to get a badge? I'm willing to pony up the cash but sexual favors are out...I get bored and visually nauseated too easily or I could burst out laughing...just wouldn't work either way.

Anonymous said...

KF, are you going to get the accident report filed ? Be interesting to see how it got written up. Stuart's name should appear first.
Also, pretty interesting that one of the cars was totaled in a 40mph zone.

Autogyro said...

Anon @ 10:46 - Yes, I believe she is still a sworn deputy.

Anonymous said...

I wasn't her badge... It was his and it wasn't with her because she got rid of him.

Anonymous said...

Most police officers are dirty cops. A well known DUI officer in Ridgeland, Daniel Soto, who has won MADD awards and given tons of wrongfully given DUIs, was pulled over in Flowood on suspicion of DUI. Knowing he was over the legal limit, the cops let him go because of "professional courtesy".

Anonymous said...

Mississippi justice continues.

Anonymous said...

Are we, along with Louisiana, of course, the only states with this type of system?

Anonymous said...

Most police officers are dirty cops?

Pretty broad brush there. I've known lots of cops, troopers, deputies and not a dirty one, yet. What's your definition of dirty?

Autogyro said...

Anon @ 11:35 - Ah, perhaps Stuart *was* an honorary deputy then. And yes, you're right - she did get rid of him.

Anonymous said...

Stuart Irby is not an honorable man.

Neither is anyone who has ever protected him from the consequences of his actions.

Anonymous said...

My definition of a dirty cop? Someone who stops you for no reason. Someone who lies continuously on the stand. And, someone who's being investigated by the FBI for getting kickbacks from the bail bondsman and who knows who else?

Anonymous said...

I read Stuart was cited only for " no proof of insurance" and no " fault" was assigned.

I've never heard of a car accident where the police were involved where " fault" wasn't indicated at the scene. I've never heard of a person who rear ended another car as not being found " at fault".

My definition of a " dirty cop" would be any cop that goes along with corruption and remains silent.

Anonymous said...

Boss Hawg walks tall at JPD.

Betcha Karen gets a slap on the wrist.

Money talks, BS walks.

Anonymous said...

In my many car accidents, the police never indicated who was at fault. I thought that was up to the insurance companies to decide. A cop can give you a ticket for certain acts like running into the back of someone but I never got one and I probably did it 3 times when I was a teenager. I'm a very careful driver now.

Couldn't a dirty cop also be involved in corruption?

Anonymous said...

Is Ridgeland Police Officer Daniel Soto nicknamed Taco? If so, he boasts about how many women he arrests in Madison County for DUI. Or is there more than one on the police force in Ridgeland who makes false arrests to boost the numbers of his arrest records?

Anonymous said...

The first person listed on the slip you get at the time of the accident is the one considered at fault. JPD sends a copy to the highway dept. The officer does not make that clear at the time so as not to get " flak". Your insurance company won't mention either unless the other guy in the minor accident decides to try to get rich off of it. They just raise your rates and not argue with you.
Having several teenage drivers in the house in one's lifetime increases the odds you'll uncover these little details ! I had decades of blissful ignorance:-)
But, it's been a while...things change, but I doubt this has.

Anonymous said...

10:47 - I'll find out. That sounds familiar. This description certainly does. He was also bragging the other day about arresting a 65 year old man who had just come back from a job interview.

Anonymous said...

I can't believe it! EVEN the CL editorial board GETS something is...oh, " rotten in Denmark"...

Gotta smell pretty rotten for them to risk revenues!

Anonymous said...

His nickname is NOT Taco; don't know about the rest.

Anonymous said...

5:45 The indication of " fault" is not obvious. It's being listed as the first name on the small accident report slip you were given. If the matter was resolved to the satisfaction of both insurance companies, you'd never need to know.

Both my insurance claims adjuster and the lady at the highway patrol on Woodrow Wilson who provided me additional reports on the accident told me about this practice.

Anonymous said...

Who is/are the municipal court judge(s) in Ridgeland, also the prosecutor? That would tell the tale. As an atty. with twenty- five years experience in criminal law and local politics it is hard to believe that a cop in his mid twenties and about 5 years post acadamy would carry that much weight. Soto is not from that part of the state and is NOT the brightest bulb in the socket.

Anonymous said...

The judge is Hal McCarley and the prosecutor is Boty McDonald. McDonald was a public defender.

Anonymous said...

Anon 2:21 AM. That's a mighty boad brush that you paint re: an uneducated, rookie cop who is not from that area and was raised at, or below, the poverty level way south of Ridgeland. It is unrealistic to attribute him with that much "pull". I have known many cops who are untruthful on the stand, before Grand Juries and the like. That does not go "unchecked" unless approved and consented to by the higher ups. At least give credit where it it is due. Otherwise you got "beat down" by a bottom feeder.

Anonymous said...

Mine hasn't gone that far yet and I hired a great lawyer. The amount of money I've had to spend is what irritates me.

Anonymous said...

How do you get justice in an unjust system? Is the bondsman in Ridgeland named David? I was in the Ridgeland traffic court & heard the judge say he would never rule against his officers. Even if the person is not at fault..... do we need to go to the FBI & register our concerns?

Anonymous said...

How can I get in touch with her? This would help so much. Please, please, please contact me at mightygood4u@gmail.com. Maybe we can do some good...I have some info & I know some others also.

Anonymous said...

Didn't Boty McDonald use to be a Millsaps' prof.? If so, he was denied tenure because he was too lazy to publish.

Maybe he is also lacking the gumption to prosecute...effectively

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
