On May 21, 2023, I wrote a column titled “Corruption is not a crime under THE LAW.” Special Counsel John H. Durham had submitted “Report on Matters Related to Intelligence Activities and Investigations Arising Out of the 2016 Presidential Campaigns” the week before. I had read the entire report and believed it settled all the hoopla over “Crossfire Hurricane” aka “Russia, Russia, Russia.” Durham’s report did not find any actionable facts that would hold anyone accountable for any of the shenanigans by any of the parties involved.

Was sentence illegal?

A man convicted and sentenced to three counts of rape in March was free to rape again and rape again he did (allegedly).  

 While Madison and Gluckstadt slug it out over the annexation of an area between the two cities, Madison asked the Mississippi Supreme Court to allow it to provide municipal services to the disputed area until the Court rules on the matter.

 What could possibly happen on a late weeknight in Jackson? 

Much of the legitimate news commentary and almost all of the social media missives praising or damning last week’s congressional approval of President Donald Trump’s $9 billion rescission package at least inferred that Trump was engaging in unprecedented actions and expanding presidential powers in a nefarious manner.
