Thugs are always the ones who couldn't compete on their own merits with others. That's true in all skin colors. No owner or business wants to hire stupid or hostile or mean people. That's why racists today are always those who weren't well liked in school or whose family raised them to be racist. No intelligent person wants friends who don't care about integrity, honor, merit, compassion, and competence but only social standing and what you can do for them. It's not like "elitist" whites actually respect whites they consider socially inferior or stupid or useless. You won't be invited to their house or want you in the family if you don't bring something more than you skin color to the " table".

What we have is failure to communicate.

Such a punishment is simply not reasonable. Now, what would be reasonable is after cleaning up the mess THEY made, march their narrow young asses out to the highways and byways of Panola county where they can clean up the mess OTHER idiots have made. And if and when that's done, I have no doubt there is all sorts of hot, tiring work that needs doing all over Panola County - roads that need repairing, grass cut (with a swing-blade), ditches dug and cleared, all sorts of things that will help a young man in making life choices. And every night, a nice big ol' plate of beans and rice or a sammich of cheap coldcuts on dry bread (you know, leftovers from lunch). To be fair, give 'em a choice for breakfast, too: eat the oatmeal or don't. Maybe a little of the Cool Hand Luke lifestyle will do them more good than the would-be Social Media Influencer-slash-wannabe-Rapper lifestyle.

The kids these days! Wonder what they were thinking or what was the motivation.

Sentenced to six strokes but Bill Clinton (I think it was) appealed to the Singaporean government and got it reduced to four strokes. Tragically, perhaps, the four strokes weren't delivered publicly. Well, anyway, the boy, 18 at the time, flailed around for a couple of years and finally, I think, got himself in order.
