The Madison Police Department issued the following statement.
On Thursday, February 19, 2026, officers with the Madison Police Department responded to reports of multiple vehicle burglaries throughout the City of Madison.
Investigators quickly gathered information and developed leads that led them to the City of Jackson. A vehicle of interest was located on Maria Drive in Jackson. With assistance from the Mississippi Capitol Police and the Hinds County Sheriff's Department, investigators arrested 25-year-old Willie Deonta Thomas of Jackson and 23-year-old Harold Stiff of Jackson.

Evidence related to the burglaries has been recovered. Investigators are currently seeking information that will lead to the arrest of Christian B. Stiff of Jackson.
During the investigation, authorities determined that Thomas was out on parole from the Mississippi Department of Corrections at the time of his arrest. Investigators also determined that Harold Stiff is currently out on bond in Hinds County on an Aggravated Assault charge.
Both individuals arrested have been charged with eight counts of Auto Burglary, and additional charges are possible. A warrant has been issued for Christian B. Stiff for eight counts of Auto Burglary.

An initial appearance will be held at the City of Madison Municipal Court, and the case will be forwarded to District Attorney John “Bubba” Bramlett for prosecution.

The Jackson City Council, MS legislature, or US Congress? I'd have added the White House, but they are way too young and the odds are they won't make it to eligibility age. Actually, even 30 might be pushing things, so Roger, Cindy, here's three young folks that you don't have to worry about come election time. The rest, however, might cause y'all some heartburn if the polls are remotely accurate.
Mr. Stiff coulda been a contender for adult entertainment perhaps but went in another direction.
