An Ole Miss football player got a case of the stupid less than a week before the big game Thursday. WTVA reported:
An Ole Miss football player was arrested in Alabama just days before the Rebels are set to play in the Sugar Bowl. Police say Dante Jovon Core, a freshman defensive back from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, was taken into custody on December 26th following a traffic stop in Andalusia.
According to authorities, officers stopped a vehicle they say was traveling more than 110 miles per hour and did not have a visible license plate. During the stop, officers reported smelling marijuana, which led to a search of the vehicle. Police say that the search uncovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Core was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There go all those Sugar Bowl player goodies-
I'm sure that he is a straight-A student and no one is taking his tests for him.
Lane can save him, wait and see…
And visions of Sugar babes danced in his head.
Freshman not even on the roster. Won't be missed. Thankfully, he did not hurt anyone.
Well I did a little research, no interstate near Andalusia Alabama he was probably on hwy 84. It’s a blessing they stopped him cause that’s reckless endangerment. This fool could have killed someone! 110 MPH is outrageous!
Send him back home to watch the bowl game in the comfort of his home.
Y’all better stop giving these fooools cars to play football. They just ain’t mature.
Give them Golf Carts to ride around on campus. During breaks a round trip bus ticket
How was he supposed to know that you gotta go through Alabama to get to Mississippi? He's paid to play football not teach geography. C'mon.
If allowed to play it’s a slap in the face to other players doing the right thing and teaches Dante nothing.
Dante Core as Huggy Lowdown of the Ton Joyner Morning Show would say,
“ You are the Bama of the Week”!
Only understands x and o’s. Glad this happened early in his career! Good luck young man!
Dante don’t forget to watch the ending of the movies. The shit you are doing never ends well.
Another Dodge driver caught
Folks were racing back and forth all day long doing 110 miles per hour plus on I-55 in Jackson this past Saturday. No law enforcement agency did anything about it.
Most observers don’t think it will matter anyway. Unless Georgia really has a bad game they will likely beat Ole Miss the way Ole Miss beat Tulane.
Idiot and Ole Miss are synonymous
True dat
@5:36pm - Just like idiot and MAGA are synonymous.
7:19 is beyond help

I saw it! 55s between Briarwood & Meadowbrook I think...About a dozen Crotch Rockets went by well over 100, and then the cars! 4 or 5 cars right on their tail! And that Mustang had about a thousand Christmas Lights all over it! How in the world they made it thru all that traffic ahead of me is amazing!
I wish I could forget, driving to someone's house in the Delta, one Christmas Day. Between Yazoo City and Hollandale, there's a road running between very low soybean fields - so low there were catfish ponds, too. It's like driving on a levee - a very NARROW levee - 2 lanes and very little shoulder. The sides are scary-steep. And it's a long way down: maybe 10 feet - maybe more. You FEEL the danger. Going off the road, at any speed, is going to fuck-you-up.
Well, that day, in one lane, there was a line of cars, headed from Madison County, back home to the Delta. In the other lane, however, Chrysler products were traveling at unreal speeds: apparently turning around somewhere, since we saw the same cars, multiple times - going BOTH DIRECTIONS in that one lane. We decided they were Yazoo City drug dealers.
Now, I'm wondering if they weren't star athletes.
