Hey Sid, I've been a gun owner for many years and none of my guns have ever acted with violence. What is causing all of these guns to all of a sudden become violent. Should I be scared in my home, Should I lock my bedroom door so my guns cant get me during the night.

Death by violence is the issue. Gun, knife, icepick, straight razor are all capable of taking a life. You're just as dead from a stab wound as you are from a Glock. We claim this title because of the violent population and rotting culture living here.

The workers say there are no jobs in the area. But the employers won't go to those areas because they say there are no workers. Who is correct? The truth is that there are tons of unemployed people who would rather run the streets and engage in gun-play rather than go to work daily and provide for themselves. So economic opportunity is not the cause of the gun issues. These counties aren't impoverished because of lack of jobs. They are impoverished because of a lack of disciplined and productive and well behaved humans.

Sid, it looks as if you presented the problem and the solution in your column, whether you realize it or not.

Then, when you include the Democrat base of so-called entertainers, glorifying violence via the filth on television, and in their music lyrics, literally, WTF do we expect?

You want to bring the gun violence stats waaaay down? Let’s come up with a way to force those that vote Democrat, especially the White Democrat voters, to back up that talk by walking the walk, and living in Democrat controlled cities…while sending their babies to Democrat controlled schools (instead of invading our suburbs and schools like roaches, spreading their cancerous immorality). If we can find a way to do this, all of their Democrat retard pro-lawlessness tactics won’t be so easy to stomach, when it’s the middle and upper income Democrats, and their babies, having to deal with the senseless violence, instead of mostly poor black people.

Sid, I invite you to practice what you preach. Before your guns commit any more violence, whether against people or innocent animals, give them all up. Yes, inspire us by your example by publicly turning in all your guns and allow Law Enforcement to have the monopoly on violence. Remember, it’s for The Greater Good(tm).

There is a large percentage of the population that that is unemployable. Can't read. Can't show up on time, if at all consistently. Can't help but steal. Looks down on authority. No desire to learn or contribute to their community. MS has a crappy work force. That is why big companies don't come here.

$10 bill to a donut says the recent shooters have been incarcerated or released with prior felonies. We need a judicial system not a legal one. The judges need to be held accountable for pardoning such trash.

I’m a firm believer in self respect and self love. If people hate who they are, if they feel useless, if they have disappointed themselves, if they have been beaten down, treated like trash and stereotyped as criminals
they will try to gain respect in the worst ways and they will never respect anyone else. We’ve all seen the types, total losers, ignorant, lazy but hanging around the corner demanding respect when none is deserved. It is their way of trying to validate themselves. Until we all figure out how to change this the crime rates will only continue to climb. Southern Republican lawmakers and representatives are too consumed by MAGA politics and their maddening obsession with owning Liberals in places like LA and Chicago to pay attention to their own constituents. So it tells me they don’t care, they don’t have a solution so preoccupying themselves with issues outside their districts or the state gives the illusion they are actually doing something productive for their constituents.

Right. Not to mention a total lack of self respect and we all know if a man doesn’t respect himself he certainly won’t respect anyone else. The lack of positive male influence during youth resulting in never being validated means young men will try to find validation or some odd respect they think they deserve. So they try getting it violently. Its an endless cycle I’ve seen for decades.

So many of the young black kids grow up without a family structure for guidance and discipline. Unfortunately the street gangs and drug culture give them a structure, albeit a criminal structure whose rules are materialistic and deadly violent. The new drug pusher culture does not fight or "rumble". They only see kill or be killed. This mentality has spread like a cancer thanks to hip hop music often glorifying the lifestyle. The media could change it if they wanted to but they are not motivated to do so.

What we need is better education in the community, specifically marksmanship. These thugs manage to hit everything except what they are aiming at, grandma, a kid, the cat. We would be much better off if thug A actually hits thug B, it’s a win win. Then eventually they kill each other off and the rest of us can live in peace.

And just in case you live in a bubble somewhere and haven’t seen the news, when Republicans do provide “solutions” and “do something productive” to reduce crime and hold criminals accountable, the PRO-CRIME, PRO-CRIMINAL DEMOCRAT PARTY fights said “solutions” with terrorist protestors, a corrupt media, and activist judges. So, keep this in mind.

Until we are ready to talk about totally revamping the welfare system nothing will or can change. Stop rewarding people financially for having all these kids they cannot support.
