Problems can appear to be just that, problems. However, problems can also be a forge to create something wonderful, much as an ugly piece of iron is turned into a beautiful sword of steel . Consider the anamorphic painting. Ugly from one view yet when gazed at through a different view, a masterpiece emerges. What seems insurmountable often is a gateway to something better. The late Dr. Frank Pollard preached on these truths and more in the 1996 sermon posted below. Enjoy.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
(NIV)16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
(KJV)16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
