While hurricanes tear up Florida and western North Carolina, guess what FEMA is worried about? The 2023 video posted below says it all.
These people are prioritizing disaster relief on equity? They are dangerous. Notice how one Commissar discards the "utilitarian" model of disaster relief in favor of equity. Equity means checklist. In other words, some animals are more equal than others as they replace "equality" with a warped version of "equity."

This is madness. Not to mention bullshit. Is there nothing you won't fall for and post?
Unpopular ideas can be silenced, and inconvenient facts kept dark, without the need for any official ban. Anyone who has lived long in a foreign country will know of instances of sensational items of news — things which on their own merits would get the big headlines-being kept right out of the British press, not because the Government intervened but because of a general tacit agreement that ‘it wouldn’t do’ to mention that particular fact. So far as the daily newspapers go, this is easy to understand. The British press is extremely centralised, and most of it is owned by wealthy men who have every motive to be dishonest on certain important topics. But the same kind of veiled censorship also operates in books and periodicals, as well as in plays, films and radio. At any given moment there is an orthodoxy, a body of ideas which it is assumed that all right-thinking people will accept without question. It is not exactly forbidden to say this, that or the other, but it is ‘not done’ to say it, just as in mid-Victorian times it was ‘not done’ to mention trousers in the presence of a lady. Anyone who challenges the prevailing orthodoxy finds himself silenced with surprising effectiveness. A genuinely unfashionable opinion is almost never given a fair hearing, either in the popular press or in the highbrow periodicals.
Kingfish never met a conspiracy theory he doesn't love.
Regardless of the merits of this roundtable discussion, it's misleading at best to say FEMA is worried about this topic "while hurricanes tear up Florida and Western North Carolina." These videos were posted a year and a half ago in March 2023:

Would you like to provide some context? Probably not. What's the occasion? What's the event? Is your concern that LGBTQ people are discussing disaster relief? Do you seriously believe that on a state level there is no discrimination on the basis of sexual preference? When you post things like this without context you're just posting clickbailt. But that increases your income from this site, doesn't it?
You know this isn’t real, don’t you? And, yet, no disclaimer to that effect with this post. What was your goal in posting this?
Get a life.
Having an Alphabet lifestyle is not linked to being singled out by Mother Nature. Again, the Alphabet Crew wants to game "disability" for personal gain or an unfair advantage. The gay mansion owners in FL, the gay billionaire with a 400 foot yacht, the gay owner of an Ashville NC Cabin, are NOT disadvantaged by floods or winds anymore than normal folks.
And, the Alphabet Man here is gaming "disability" and "equity" when the discussion should be about truly economically or physically disadvantaged folks (like in a wheelchair as illustrated) and not someone's rainbow fetishes. He stole the agenda to promote "his/her/their" narrative. Again. Tells you all you need to know about FEMA today. And, yes, this is a program still in place, that does have a GubMint making "some animals" more equal than others.
Here's an idea: Let's have some random guy from Starkpatch provide some analysis.

The true idiots of the day are the ones bashing this post. Bill Dees, you are like the celebrities who promised to leave the country if Trump were elected then didn’t. You quit this blog, remember?
Like it or not, believe it or not, it is being reported by major news outlets. In the internet age you need to check multiple sources before making a statement of fact that is inaccurate. The context, albeit from 2023 is this is representative of the current Federal government philosophy which can shape policy, not only at FEMA but in other areas.
I generally wait a few days on such items because the truth usually shakes out in a day or two. In this case, it is policy on the FEMA website so yeah, the 2023 video is relevant.
And my nut job is back. Too bad I won't approve your comments. It's funny how you obsess about me so much. Keep it up. It's what I expect from the JFP crowd.
Someone fell for the old engagement farming trick.
FEMAtic Sycophants: Biden-Harris, including recent $157M, have sent over $300M to Lebanon over last 2 years, from some convenient FEMA type slush fund, without Congressional approval. But FEMA, Mayorkas, Biden & Harris demand more money to be approved by Congress before providing extra for Helene devastation. Ironically, Harrs-Walz campaign is struggling to win polling in Michigan which has high percentage of Muslim voters, including Lebonese. So Democrats are using death and destruction from Helene to extort Congress, yet FEMA has billions at the ready right now.
most of this stuff goes back to Occupy Wallstreet. Back then, TPTB got real shook when both the right and left started to unify against them. BLM,DEI, LGBTQPI+, allows them to divide us and allows TPTB to wrap themselves in a protective cloak of faux “social activism” that distracts from their otherwise lack of ethics. Unethical behavior such as outsourcing through H1B visa abuse and massive data collection, etc.
Not you too, KF?? Please don't perpetuate these lies!!!

Lol. LMAO.
I'm really looking forward to the end of campaign season. Maybe the election industry will leave us alone for a while.
12:17 quotes Newsweek as if it is a credible source. Ha!
How much is Putin paying you to spread these lies?
Newsweek, along with several others, have taken the place of The National Enquirer. The invasion by space aliens will be their next big story.
"This is madness. Not to mention bullshit", you say. Those two sentences best describe the only shipment of support from FEMA in the Helene disaster.

Please tell me this is simply a discussion. Please tell me this isn't a meeting where decisions are made, and priorities set.
"Please tell me this is simply a discussion. Please tell me this isn't a meeting where decisions are made, and priorities set."
Well, now we get to the real heart of the matter. The hyperpartisans either wildly citing or discrediting the post here and the original post to social media are, as usual, completely wrong. On one hand, this was a bit over a year ago, so it was not about FEMA's response to Helene or Milton, and apparently, no agency-wide decisions were made during that webinar/webchat. On the other hand, the guy in the upper right corner was and is a FEMA trainer and he was speaking in front of a FEMA backdrop because this was an official FEMA event. He was trying to "set priorities" and what he said obviously has some support within FEMA and is also obviously now a part of its "corporate culture," and those who subscribe to it are attempting to make it a "core value." FEMA's mission is "helping people before, during and after disasters, and our core values and goals help us achieve it." (From fema.gov)
Everyone will have to form their own opinions about the propriety of such a "culture" and it becoming a "core value" at a government agency with a mission to help the entire population of large areas before, during, and after disasters. I would argue that while sensitivity to the variety of the population is certainly a respectable "core value," it will be impossible to single out any particular minority segment for heightened "sensitivity" in the form of specialized direct response during or after a disaster, beyond what is within the over-arching mission of FEMA. As examples in very general terms, the sick in hospitals or elderly in nursing homes should get evacuation priority and post-disaster assistance over those who can manage for a bit and kosher and halal supplies should be provided if reasonably available and when reasonably warranted. But the logistics of catering to the myriad purely personal preferences which vary greatly among whatever group identified, in the context of general disaster response, would be impossible and are simply not something FEMA is or should be charged with addressing. If private groups want to provide specialized assistance and do it with private funds (i.e., no "grants" or other end-runs), FEMA should not interfere and it should welcome it as long as it is coordinated and does not interfere with FEMA's mission to the entire population.
