Short and sweet and still a bunch of folks confused.
I know entrapment when I see it without any wordsmithing sophist lawyer-types telling me what it is while they, as they say in their courtroom openings, “seek the truth.” Just put me on the jury and I’ll show you.
While technically correct, the explanation was confusing.
If undercover cop A is standing on the corner and you go buy dope from him, no entrapment.
If undercover cop A is standing on the corner, undercover cop B gives you $$ and says go buy us some dope from that guy on the corner, you go buy the dope from cop A. Thats entrapment.
Simple explanation.
Lmao. I wish I'd seen this last night. Foreshadowing!
But what is undercover cop A spreads the word that he has dope for sale and he goes and stands on the corner. And I heard him making that claim and I walk over to the corner and give him $20 bucks for some weed? And he cuffs me.
You people kill me. Undercover cops don’t sell dope. They buy it.
