Destiny Gibson will be sitting in jail for quite a while after Jackson Municipal Court Judge Jeff Reynolds set her bond for murder at $2 million today.
The defendant was visiting the McDonald's at the intersection of Northside Drive and Hanging Moss Road yesterday when she allegedly stabbed a male employee to death with a butcher knife. The alleged victim was apparently just eating his lunch after his shift ended when Gibson allegedly attacked him.
The victim tried to run but Gibson jumped him, driving the knife into his chest. She allegedly left the knife in her alleged victim. A brave bystander subdued the woman until JPD arrived.
Gibson was born on February 19, 2002. She is from Illinois. The thugette managed to get in more trouble this morning when she attacked a fellow female prisoner, allegedly stabbing her in the eye with a spoon.

The other inmate shouldn't have said "I'll keep an eye out for you."
It should have been no bond for a crime like that.
My understanding is a municipal court judge can deny bond only for capital murder.
She is not going to raise bail money anyway. She should have kept her butt in Illinois. So sorry employees & customers had to witness this. Prayers for his family!
Homeless
7:19 she's homeless
They can deny bond also if they are already out on a felony bond.
She has a wonderful Destiny--
Poor bastard was just getting a snack, minding his own business and then this happens.
