cant wait for the democrats to boycott dru hill
I still want to know if Andy rented (actually paid money for renting) the Ag Museum for his Trump Rally. Can anyone find out? He strikes me as the kind of guy who would just use it and tell everyone to "stick it" if they objected. I bet KIngfish could make a couple of phone calls and find out.
It's not official until I hear the good Commissioner announce himself on radio ads.
I’ll be protesting the fair this year unless they bring back pineapple ice cream and drop the oak ridge boys (senior citizens)
And this year, it is apparently a Republican only event.
ticket priced doubled and no lineups worth seeing.
I might go see the Oak Ridge Boys. I saw them about 10 years ago and they were good. They also were once caught speeding in Hazzard County. Boss Hogg made them perform at the Boar's Nest rather than pay the speeding ticket. A good time was had by all.

Hey! I'm 68, I'm ALMOST a Senoir, we Like the Fair Too!
Can someone please get a professional to book the talent instead of Goober Gipson! I can already see his ass getting up on stage singing Elvira.
This is a microcosm of what he would be as Governor. DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN MS!
I saw that Oak Ridge Boys at the fair 20+ years ago. I guess they've come full circle. Ha!
I love the fair. The food, watching the little kids on the rides. I'd like to see Matthew West and Oak Ridge Boys.
No US at the fair? Oh sorry, wrong fair. They’ll be at Neshoba for sure.
Andy couldn't get Morris Day or Herman's Hermits again?
Weak, very weak, lineup.
@4:41 June 18 - I heard Gipson "singing" at the fair last year and I'm still in PTSD counseling.
Gipson is ok. Just be thankful we don't have to watch Cindy in a buckboard pretending to be Annie Oakley with Phil riding along behind on a greased pig.
And if you're old enough, you can remember Jim Buck cracking boring jokes pretending to be Jingles.
"Andy couldn't get Morris Day or Herman's Hermits again?"
Budget cuts :-(
They have merged - this year it's Morris Day's Hermits ;-)
This keeps getting worse. Next year the Fair will have a DJ.
Good grief! This has turned into a whiner's post.
Can't lie, the DJ comment made me laugh 9:14.
All that talent, just — wow. Which day is the shootout?
@4:33 Oak Ridge Boys are on their farewell tour. Joe Bonsall already left the tour last year because he can't stand for very long anymore.
Does anyone really care about the Fair?
If memory serves me correctly, the line up of musical guests used to be every night of the fair, except for on Sunday. WTH happened? (rhetorical question)
