Take bug spray. I was out there Sunday and got destroyed by gnats!
Here's a hint: Bug spray won't help. The best repellent for gnats is, believe it or not, vanilla extract. Pour a small bit in one palm, rub your hands together and apply it liberally to your face, neck, top of your head and arms. Will not harm skin in any way or clothing.
Not harmful in any way and will not cause any reaction if applied to your eyelids. I've used it fishing for years and it's the best!
Your pets will appreciate it as well. Use the same method and be sure to rub their faces. You know how gnats are attracted to the moisture surrounding dogs' eyes and cats as well.
PawPaw used Avon Skin So Soft to gnats.
Many Plastic Surgeons are talented and generous, I appreciate one in particular who, over several years, has removed about 40 small skin carcinomas, and has done so both cost efficiently and esthetically.
My daughter is a patient of Dr. Ian Hoppe and th talent he has brought to the Jackson area is immeasurable. He and his staff serve patients suffering from cranio facial deformities, and UMMC is lucky to have him. A product if Rutgers med school and Children’s of Philadelphia, one can only hope that he and his family will stay in Jackson for years to come. We are lucky to have him. https://www.umc.edu/Provider/Hoppe_Ian_C/
