JJ nailed some more details about the shooting that took place in Jackson near an Entergy crew. This message made the rounds of social media earlier this week:
Entergy issued the following statement:
Our crews were working near Buckley Drive yesterday when they heard shots fired. It wasn’t targeted at them. Police asked them to stand down while they investigated. None of our crews or equipment was damaged. They were later able to return and continue working.
An 80 year-old man had was looking at property when he had to stop for a fallen tree on Buckley Drive. The Entergy crew was somewhere on the other side of the tree. Two black males tried to rob the man while he was stopped. One of the hoodlums shot at the man with an AR-15 or AK-47-firearm. Two rounds struck his vehicle's hood while a third round took out a window. He managed to escape by turning onto Crane Boulevard.
The victim called Capitol Police. Capitol police offers arrived within five minutes. There was some confusion as to the appearance of the Capitol Police on this site because a DPS representative said Capitol Police did not receive any calls to the area.
The perps were in either a grey Lexus or Toyota sedan.
The Entergy crew was not the target of any shots fired but heard shots fired.

Let me get this straight. There were numerous bullet holes in this vehicle, but this was not the targeted vehicle.
Crane. Wow. That used to be the center of the center of elite.
I think this is worse--
Crane Blvd ain't what it used to be--
Crane- home of Democrat Elites-
Anywhere, at anytime in Jackson is the wrong place at the wrong time.
Buckley and Crane is basically Fisackerly's former front yard. Strangely enough, his house is now owned by the Dore Flim-Flam Oxford House happy loving couple.

The way I read this, The old guy was there and two locals attempted to rob him with guns (Rifles). Shots were fired, which hit his car. The Power company crew heard the shots, but were not the intended victim. This is not to say they were safe, just not the person the shooters were trying to rob.
Shooters were using the fallen tree as an ambush opportunity to trap, rob and jack a victim. Savages abound.
Million plus dollar houses on that street. I did a driveway that was over 50k last March there at one of them. Lots of money there.
Just another day in the radical Marxist paradise called Jackson. Right?
This is another example of why my Madison home has appreciated $125,000 in two years. Thanks Chowke. Good job!
Next.
and the other part of the rest of the story was that the gentleman fled the area for safety, and came around to the other side of the tree where the energy linesman were, and he dialed 911 first. there was no answer at 911, only prompts to push this button or that.......it was a neighbor that gave him the capitol police number, and the capitol police responded immediately (w/in 5 minutes), and and soon after, there were multiple capitol police on scene.
At this point, with the number of murders that are occurring, and car jackings, etc., the news media and our city council should be funding this mayoral administration and their flagrant inabilities at every turn, every opportunity. The inability to manage and perform the most basic and routine of municipality responsibilities was inexcusable 4 years ago
When I lived on Crane there was only one Democrat on the street. William Winter.
Just a matter of time young fools are going to meet a well trained fighter that’s going to take them out! Mama and BigMama you better have their insurance policies paid up!
I don’t travel thru Jackson Ms, cause I don’t want to be in a hostile environment again!
Thanks for the clarification.
It still is a bad, embarrassing, sad look for Jackson.
"Completely embarrassing for Jackson." Apparently not to the Mayor.
I surmise the Mayor is thinking about life after Jackson and far, far, away with a pocket full of Mula.
11:24 has been gone from Crane for a long time.
OK, if Jackson's 911 service is not functional, it would be a great public service if someone would post the Capitol Police number in this thread for those who have to do business in Jackson.
10:08 - Using the downed tree as cover to launch their crime seems to be a sound tactical plan. It used to be a good thing that crooks were not smart, and were easy to capture & arrest. These two seem to be a cut above the average criminal. They might have a honest future in the US armed forces.
So they weren't shooting at Entergy crew just trying to rob and kill someone working right next to them. Okay think I got it now.
The thugs in Jackson have been watching too much tv. A tree across the road went out with the stagecoaches.
Capitol Police tel. No. 601-359-3125. If you are in the Capitol Police District, you should have this number with you.
3:49 Thank you.
I only have had to call 911 in Lumumba's Marxist paradise one time. I can't report on the response. 911 never answered.
If you must be in Jackson, calling 911 or the Capitol Police is not going to save your bacon if you are accosted by Jackson thugs. The only solution is to ventilate them well with as many rounds as it takes to stop them. All these unarmed people are allowing the problem to continue. There is no solution but for decent people to be armed and kill every one of them possible when they attempt their depredations. Why do people refuse to arm themselves? It is really astounding.
@7:37 While I certainly keep and bear arms and support other’s rights to do so, someone shooting at you in a drive by with a semi-auto rifle with a 30 round mag is probably one of the most vulnerable positions you can be in, with or without a sidearm.
105 that’s exactly what happened in Meridian when a would be car jacker chose the wrong guy! The guy chosen was an off duty deputy with a weapon who protected his wife , as they were attending a vacation Bible school event. Deputy walks away car jacker needs a hearse! Sad but poetic justice ! All was captured by security surveillance.
