Rukia LUMUMBA is listed here. What a surprise. Maybe she’s having trouble remembering all the consultant fees that came her way from the City of Jackson and Friends of City of Jackson.
And that is just at the state level. Local races are much worse. Sad. Glad some attention is being paid to this.
I would like to see some actual facts about "Bam Bam" & "Progeorlan"
In no particular order? Who does that?
Which Robert Evans? I believe there are two, one from Lawrence County and the other from I forget where.
rukia lumumba and pickett can't file or it'll show their money is being funneled by the maya.
Can they still keep the money they raise if not qualified to run? or if they lose? Seem to remember Feel “raising” 2 milli in his second term, unopposed…This should be changed
Wash and Hickingbottom were both disqualified by the Democratic party (too black seemed to be the reason). At this point they aren't candidates. Somebody needs to tell Watson to update his lists prior to publishing.
Nothing changes until the repercussions for non-compliance result in real financial pain.
Free the laundered money!
The law needs to be changed. There is no need to report this BS. A candidate can hide anything they do not want to report.
"Doc" Harris has no money left for stamps. He's got 4x8 fancy signs on every street corner in Desoto County. Help a brother out and send him some stamps.
Is there, according to statute, a point at which the non-compliant 'candidates' will be dropped from their contest?
Only news here is the LUMUMBA name. No one cares about the 60+ other names that didn’t file. All whom are vying to be leaders of this GREAT STATE.
10:37, sadly that is up to the parties. They qualify who is on the primary ballot. Both parties run a very crony oriented primary (see Northern Distrct PSC).
6:36 - So the filing is required by state law but a political party can ignore state law?
Damn FreS, come on man. This ain’t a good look!
The "Robert Evans" listed is NOT Bob Evans,Rep for House District 91. His periodic report due by 5:00 p.m. on May 10, 2023, was in fact FILED on May 10, 2023,at 12:38 p.m. as recorded on Secretary of State's election web page.
