Don't go trying to figure out how this Covid-19 virus got started. The Chinese Communist government told the Aussies to worry about waltzing Matilda's and forget about investigating the origins of the Coronavirus outbreak. Canada's The Star reported yesterday:
Skynews updated the story.
China’s ambassador on Monday (April 27) reportedly is warning the Australian government its pursuit of a Covid-19 (coronavirus) inquiry could set off a boycott by Chinese consumers, who may no longer travel and study in Australia or buy major exports including beef and wine.
Ambassador Cheng Jingye told The Australian Financial Review in an interview published on Monday that Australia’s push for an inquiry was "dangerous” and predicted it would fail to gain traction.
"Resorting to suspicion, recrimination or division at such a critical time could only undermine global efforts to fight against this pandemic,” Cheng said.
Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt said an independent inquiry was in the interests of Australia and the world."We’ve seen 3 million people infected and over 200,000 lives lost so of course there has to be an independent review,” Hunt told Australian Broadcasting Corp. Rest of article.

This sort of bullying and hegemony by the CCP makes it even more important to resist them.
Some Australian wine is very very good; dunno if china even makes any wine but their beer sucks.
Hard to forget one of their government hiding the deadly virus, buying up PPEs, which they are now reselling, and worst of all, threatening us that if we didn't cowtow to them they would withhold antibiotics and meds that were being made for the US market there, allowing us to "drown in a sea of covid".
Time for them to sod off; for the grad students to return to china, and for the world to realize that their leadership is indeed pernicious.
"If you fail to cower before us, we will stop taking over your country."
At least, that's the gist I'm getting from their "threat" (sounds more like a PROMISE, to me - one they have no intention of keeping). We don't drink. But plenty of people do, and Australian wine is supposedly very good. If it's as good as Australian olive oil, then it's incredibly good. There should be no problem selling their wine elsewhere. Same with Australian beef. The world is FULL of consumers...
Australia is just China's new Special Economic Zone.
I can’t imagine anybody buying anything “Made in China” anymore. Why? I wonder how many jobs America lost to China? They hid the information about this Wuhan Virus from us. Trump is doing everything he can to reverse this China dependence, he deserves much more respect than he’s getting. I sure hope no one here is watching the fake anti-Trump activist news like CNN & MSNBC.
But Bill Gates said it is a distraction.Bill’s foundation has done some real good in the world, but he should not be defensive of China or WHO. CHina’s lies have cost the world many, many lives and billions of dollars. They should not be let off the hook. The West has the ability to manage without China if necessary. This situation has exposed our economic vulnerabilities to the Chinese Communist Government. Let’s take the chance to fix those before it is too late.
F the Chinese. Hopefully them giving the world the middle finger and lying about it is enough for the rest of us to work on cutting our dependency from them.
IF Bill Gates can't keep viruses out of Windows, why should we trust him to keep viruses out of us?
ON CHINA by Henry Kisinger, sums up Chins's long range goal very succinctly....TOTAL VICTORY! Do not doubt it!
Read the label to determine where everything you purchase was made and make your choice very wisely as a consumer. Examples would be something as small as paper cupcake holders all the way to televisions. I was in the grocery and noticed two different brands of cupcake holders. One was cheaper than the other so I read the label to find one made in China and one in the USA. I will pay more to buy made in the USA. We as consumers can help turn this around. The question is will we and for how long? People are upset so many essential items are made in China but we as consumers have culpability in this. All we have been concerned with is lowest price and that has to change.
The Aussies are some pretty tough dudes.
( and that includes their women)
If they get too pissed at the Reds in Beijing, no doubt they'll call their brethren in New Zealand.
Then . . . together . . . ANZACS will cause all kind of headaches for China.
I know how they think.
(I've dated an Aussie Lady)
They are some of the nicest people on the planet.
I can listen to their accents forever.
But if you make them mad . . . gawd help you.
Covid has truly changed the world. Our online liquor store has seen a huge increase in daily sales, with wine and tequila leading being the biggest increase.
