Somebody should tell WJTV Twitter account. Sunday afternoon they did a story on the fundraiser saying he had been killed last week. They finally took it down after an hour. The three Jackson TV Twitter accounts are a joke.
I'm from a time when you were expected to know how to spell. These news stations have slacked much recently with the spellings of words during on the air news time. It's not like there isn't a spell checker on every computer now, so there's really no excuse. I can almost always point out a misspelled word, either on their crawls or on the story headers they're reporting on! This should be unheard of for Journalism majors and definitely college grads! Who is doing the proofreading? Just last week WJTV had Meridian spelled, MARIDIAN. Shook my head...
Way to go BWW! I am so encouraged by the outpouring of love and support in the community for this Deputy! He needs prayers more than anything!
Please also donate to the Bradley G. Sullivan Donation Acct. at Bank Plus. Has there been any word on his condition?
Donated at a business today and got a sticker for the truck. He's still hospitalized and will be for some time to come.
7 dui arrests should just about cover it.
Wow. You should see the comments I'm not approving. Somehow, a post about helping a shot deputy turned into a war over illegal immigration. Do you people EVER give it a rest?
If you've noticed, deputies don't wave on the road. That's because they can't wave to a thousand people. I don't expect them to but I wave anyway, just out of respect for the job they do. Give them a wave of encouragement and appreciation.
"Somehow, a post about helping a shot deputy turned into a war over illegal immigration."
I don't see the connection. What Ima missin'?
