Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann's truck was stolen from his home today. Mr. Hosemann posted this message on Facebook.
My white 2013 Ford F150 was stolen this morning at 5:38 a.m. from my driveway in Jackson. My truck tag is Hinds County P671WM and the VIN #1FTFW1ET1DKE90671. It has a black roll top over the bed of the truck. It has a brown MH sticker on the back left window. Pictures of the thieves coming into the neighborhood in a red or orange 4-door sedan can be seen and later my white truck following the car after my truck was stolen. I would sincerely appreciate if you would contact me if you have any information on the red or orange sedan or my Ford F150 truck. Please share. Thank you.

Funny. As I read this, Jay Hughes creepily smiled at me from the sidebar.
A small price to pay to live just minutes from the swankiest strip of half-assed stucco-based gentrification around!
I bet it was Easterling trying to intimidate him on the upcoming occupational health board vote.
Why didn't the neighborhood put in gates when they built the pillars at the entrance? A public gate would have required the vehicle to stop for a mug shot that would have produced a much better lead.
isn't he from Vicksburg? why move to jacktown???
"the perception of car theft"
All of these comments...ALL of them, ridiculous.
Especially, 2:24, what in the ever loving hell are you talking about? There is no stucco. None of the homes in this area look anything alike.
This perp will be caught.
What does the window sticker MH stand for? Meester Hoseman?
What neighborhood are you all talking about? Meadowbrook Highland?
He doesn't live in Meadowbrook highlands... as for the car theft... seems someone knew Delbert or didn't care for him.
Massina heights
I live in there as well... I think someone was specifically targeting Ole dilbert... I mean Delbert
7:32, redundancy is not a good style -- If someone knew Delbert, they didn't care for him.
But that aside, your suggestion doesn't narrow the field down very much, that's a large group of possible suspects.
3:35,
The neighborhood association voted against installing a Gate.
5:51, look up the word “gentrification”. Then ask yourself, “Would that refer to the preexisting homes themselves, or maybe something else that is ‘minutes away’?”
Good luck!
Only stucco is the tacky stucco job on the house behind him. Gorgeous brick covered by tacky tacky stucco.
Stucco homes are over there at Eastparke.
'Gates' keep crime out? Thanks for that heads up.

I have only one question. Why has an incident of auto theft turned into a discussion of whether houses in the area are stucco or brick? Jeez people, I don't care if it is someone living in a rundown shack in the ghetto, they don't deserve to have their property stolen!
Er'body know you need one address for the po-po to look for you and another address "where you stay at". Get with the plan, Dilbert.
Anyone ever tried to steal a f-150 with the PATS? I can't find a single auto mechanic or thief who can get past the anti theft system without a key to the truck.
910. Good question. Another good question - why does this specific case of auto theft draw this much interest? Is it because it appears it might have been targeted against Mississippi's most prizes, or arrogant -depends on point of view - elected official?
Wrong, 9:10. Anyone stupid enough to leave their vehicle unattended in Jackson deserves to have it stolen.
A lot of coveting in these comments.
It's hard to steal a ford - truck or car. Sounds to me like Delbert/Gilbert is looking for free press!
These is no such thing as bad press they say only free press... not to be confused with the Jackson free press... why are there no articles on the bill denny for early voting?
Did they find Delbert's truck?
