Our radfem is at it again. Apparently she is unsettled people actually read her website. Yup. Readership is a bad thing but we did learn a new word: Gaslighting. Warning: Mature subject matter are in her posts. You just can't make this up.
When men view our blogs in such large numbers, it’s a threat. They’re not just looking at it, they view it with the intent of harming radical feminists and women in general. They do it to collect information so they know what next to do to prevent women from going there. They batter radfem work in public for all women to see and show the result of their verbal and written battering as an example of what will await women if they do, think or say the same. They write nasty and threatening comments, that in order to trash, I have to read at least a few words of. Even though it doesn’t hurt my feelings, they are still harmful and inevitably affect my thoughts.
85,000, that’s the maximum number of views I had in one day a couple of weeks ago when the liberals and MRAs circulated my PIV* blogpost for punishment. Unlike a normal blogger, attracting 85,000 hits isn’t something I want to celebrate. It’s threatening: you know they’re after you, it only means you’ve hit men’s radar and you have no idea what they plan to do. Will they attempt to hack into my blog? Will they try to find info about me? The kinds of thought this leads me to is 85,000 men going after me in real life. Probably a bit less if you discount the women. If that happened, how on earth could I hide from tens of thousands of men?
Receiving so many comments denying what I said one after the other reinforces my sense of isolation, of outlandishness, of being the only one who knows. It makes me doubt the reality of my perceptions, it makes me waver, it shakes my foundations for a bit. I start questioning what I said. If so many people assert this with such confidence and if it contrasts so starkly with my perceptions, how can my assumptions be real? The wavering doesn’t last for long thankfully, I regain my senses quite quickly, sometimes more so than others. Writing, talking about it to friends and receiving radfems comments helps a lot. It’s the only thing that ever helps actually.
All this is gaslighting and bullying, men’s lies are meant to sound convincing. They convince with the use of force, ordering me to comply to their view by using an authoritarian, terrorising tone. ‘How dare you see otherwise. You’re crazy. You’re a bully. Etc.’ Which is why it works so well to instil self-doubt because it’s a mindfuck, it’s thought-blocking, it’s also an assault and it creates fear and willingness to appease to avoid further assaults. Brainwashing works through a mix of mind assaults, terror and constant repetition of a same message until it’s hammered into our brain, which is psychological violence. 85,000 views and hundreds of trolling comments is in effect a blitzkrieg brainwashing attack by men and male-colonised women. Hundreds of men and their pawns attempting to reprogram the minds of deviant female bloggers, women who don’t comply and who break through men’s myths and lies.... You can't make this up and don't forget to read the comments.
Here are some other gems:
She wonders why she has no friends
ALL sex with men is rape
*PIV = penis in vagina otherwise known as heterosexual sex. She takes the position that all sex with men is rape and any woman who thinks otherwise is brainwashed and subjugated. Don't take my word for it, click on the above posted link.

This one is not suitable for breeding. Banish her to the outer regions and n'er let her be spoken of again!
"Gaslighting" is not a new term. It comes from a movie ("Gaslight") from the 1940s or so, wherein the heroine is slowly driven crazy by her nefarious husband, who keeps making subtle changes, then denying them.
Example:
She: "wasn't that book on the table last night? It's on the kitchen table now."
He: "No, it was never on the table."
Sadly, her paranoia on display is very typical of the tinfoil hat crowd (of any particular political persuasion or delusion).
Unfortunately there are others like her. Yes, even in Ms. They never look inward.
This post made me think hard. I couldn't get the gaslighting reference under my thumb. Thought I remembered it from somewhere, but the comments tell me that is not the case. smh hua
The Gaslight movie was particularly good....Ingrid Bergman sensational...Charles Boyer an evil character.
good to see some old movie buffs on here...saves me some time writing a Parody...those things take some time to write,,,LOL
Ignatius Reilly, In *Confederacy of Dunces,* said it best, after reading a similar braying rant from his strange friend Myrna Minkoff: "The minx must be impaled upon the member of a particularly large stallion!"
"Gaslight" sounds a bit like "Suspicion," also with Bergman IIRC. Must have a look!
Re: the movie "Gaslight": wasn't the premise not so much that he was driving her mad, but that he was trying to convince her that she was *already* cuckoo? As I recall, the wife was deliciously sane in the end, getting a lurvely little bit of psychological revenge on her dastardly hubby!
Maybe she lives at "Camp Sister Spirit" in South MS!
Suspicion was a Hitchcock film with Joan Fontaine and Cary Grant. Gaslight was a Cukor film with Bergman and Charles Boyer.
The plots aren't anything alike but both are great films.
I don't quite understand why anyone thinks making fun of the mentally ill is useful.
This woman isn't typical of a feminist anymore than men who believe women can't get pregnant when raped are typical of chauvinists. Both are simply examples of irrational thinking, at best.
I must begin reading these comments with a beadier eye; I *completely* missed any "fun" being made of the mentally ill. But without the trope of "mental illness", we would not have many of the fine films made over the past few decades. "Gaslight" is but one of 'em. Jeez, 7:45, I reckon you didn't much cotton to "As Good As It Gets", either. It's a jumping-off point for a plot, not an indictment of a segment of the population with, er, "issues". There: is that a mild enough term for Your Delicate Sensibilities? (upper-case to honor your *gravitas*)
But lest we forget the genesis of this thread: yes, 7:45, of COURSE we all realize this is a fringe weirdo, not a serious feminist---I mean, how stupid does she think her readers (if any) are?
But truly, is the term "feminist" even relevant anymore?
Ophelia, I question your reading comprehension skills.
Not all paragraphs are specifically connected in any format but in blogging threads, a paragraph can refer back to other comments on the same subject rather that the preceding paragraph. GEEZ.
Neither movie makes fun of mental illness and I didn't suggest that they did. Indeed, I wrote they are " great films"!
To make a woman (the subject of this thread) who is clearly unstable the object of ridicule ( " not suitable for breeding" " the minx must be impaled...)is, to me , just unkind.
She is not an example of any philosophical point of view just an example of instability.
Grandma called it " kicking someone when they're down".
And, finding the craziest person you can find to represent those with whom you disagree on any group you wish to disparage is so obvious as to be insulting. At best, this lame tactic would earn an F in debating!
I don't know about "making fun" of the mentally ill.
I wouldn't care at all about this loon except:
1) her vote counts just as much as mine
2) she sounds dangerously unhinged, and unless she has some prior conviction or some other reason to restrict her right to own a cache of weapons and ammo, we could be facing another situation such as the Aurora, CO movie theater loon, the Gabby Giffords shopping center loon, the Sandy Hook elementary school loon, etc. We need to be worried about potentially violent, unhinged types and need to keep an eye on them.
I also make fun of extreme right wingers. She may be nuts, I don't know if she is, but she has a few followers if one reads the comments.
I haven't made fun of her. I've merely posted her writing up for everyone to see and draw his or her own conclusion.
"Kicking someone when [she's] down"??? No offense to your ol' granny, 10:13, but anyone like this bat-shit-crazy wacko who writes this kind of stuff, and posts it, as asking for comments and judgment, and it's hardly cruel to deliver feedback.
I want to see what she looks like. Might explain a lot. Might not. Probably will though.
Yes, crazy people get to post on websites or even have their own these days. Those who are also crazy will feel they aren't crazy and join in. Crazy people, thus, get to find each other.
Sane people ought to be looking at why our mental health system isn't working rather than legitimizing the craziness by taking it as serious political commentary .
Feeding her paranoia with your comments,4:15pm is hardly useful! And, attempting to deal rationally with an irrational person or taking their crazy thought patterns serious is also crazy.
She shouldn't be voting because she should be in treatment!
Right, 6:16pm, only homely women would have issues with men or go nuts.( Rolling eyes in disbelief).
I would also remind that there are some serious issues surrounding how our culture views women. Note Longwitz piece above and the report yesterday that 1 in every 5 women in college are sexually assaulted.
This is a useless diversion from serious discussions that need to take place.
