City of Jackson bush-hog cut a water line on the corner of Greenwood Avenue and Sennett. Looks like the house is getting drenched.

Somebody's getting a new roof courtesy of the city.
The city is Bushhogging in a residents front yard? Anyone else find that strange.
The city was bushhogging a vacant lot that council approved for cutting two years ago. More importantly, who had the contract?
No, no the citys new fire prevention program. Since fire trucks are being used in videos, this gets them ahead of the curve.
The area where the waterline is cut is just off of the edge of pavement which clearly means it is in the public right-of-way. Not is someone's yard.
DAMN 1:22 THAT IS FUNNY. Is there such a thing as a right-of-way NAZI?
1:22 You owe me a new monitor and a replacement coffee ;-)
The way the water is hitting the building - and with the window A/C unit (and therefore open window) - this homeowner may need more than just a new roof. I would be willing to wager that they may need new floors and heck, maybe even a new foundation (depending if/how water is around the foundation of the home).
Is this still on-going? I would hope they would place a piece of equipment (e.g. bush-hogger or whatever) in the path of the water to at least divert it (NOT TO MENTION TURNING OFF THE WATER MAIN!). The homeowner should get lots of photographic evidence and be prepared for a claim against the city's insurer.
As Kennif Stokes would say "sumpim needs to be did about dis"
I think we're all eager for Jackson to get a little more pro-active, but pro-active firefighting IS kinda dumb.
Jackson's newest water park???
Is that your house shadowfax?
If it were, I'd be in Crowley's office this morning. Damages, pain and suffering, loss of consortium, medical, future meds.....I figure at least 830K.
