Here are the campaign finance reports for the Madison County races for Sheriff, Supervisors, and Justice Court Judges. I haven't had time to read them but will update this post with anything interesting found in these reports. Here ya go:
Campaign finance report for D.I. Smith.

W.G. Yates effectively donated five consecutive $200 increments to Jimmy Houston under different names/affiliate companies. Sure there's a reason for not doing it all as one $1,000 contribution under Yates Constr., but not sure why.
Is it legal for a county employee to donate to a county supervisor candidate if the BOS is who hired (or hires) the person serving in their (the donor) position?
A couple of things:
Warnock gave Griffin $6,000 within a year's time. Nice.
Eric Hamer sure is selective about who gets his money. Looks like only the incumbents get it. Shocking.
One more thing on Griffin: He has an expense listed for Delta Muffler. Sure wish I had county benefactors paying for my car maintenance.
I noticed some candidates don't have one. What happens if they did not turn one in?
Nothing. Election laws are not enforced in Mississippi.
Hey KF! Doesnt Mississippi campaign finance law state that corporations are limited to $1000 dollars? Looks like Houston has several above that amount.
You are not listening.
Corporations are limited. But, LLC's are not under that limit.
I count 3 contributions over the limit for Houston that checked "Corporation". Some dont say what they are. So does no one enforce campaign laws in this state? Just asking...
Mark Sandridge listed an expense for Campaign Truck repair and/or maintenance, as well as a BBQ Grill replacement and even campaign truck gasoline, what gives?!
10:13 If Mark Sandridge is listing gas as an expense then he is following the law. A candidate is not supposed to expend personal money without reporting it.
I am sick and tired of people who do not follow the law, and I will vote for someone who does every time.
KF: Did you see anything eye-catching on these reports?
