Where is Casey Ann?

She hasn't insulted me in a while and I'm starting to feel neglected. She all right?

I'll insult you if you need it, but I would rather taunt you....

I wish it was Shoegirl but we would not be that lucky!!!
Don't worry she will be back you just haven't hit her nerve. Or did she too get tired of Shoegirl.

What is a shoegirl?

Rebekah said...

Shoegirl is just a user name...for a girl who loves shoes. And I haven't gone away- and won't be going away. So either get over it or die mad.

Anonymous said...

Charming.

I am sorry to say but since Shoegirl has come back I am gone I will check in next week. Her attitude is alot to be desired. Goodbye.

Rebekah said...

Awe boooo. And when was I ever gone? Just because I don't write everyday doesn't mean I'm gone. Almost as ridiculous as when someone claims they "found God"- didn't know he had gone anywhere. But I digress. I don't write or comment on everything. This isn't my playground- it's KF's. I'm just a guest. But thanks for constantly bringing my name up.

Shoegirl is great. Deal with it.

What's not to like about a woman who loves shoes?????

KaptKangaroo said...

I'll stick with pumpchick. ;)

Rebekah said...

Ha! Pumpchick. Wedgesgal. Sandalswoman. All the same! Shoes can change a woman's life- just ask cinderella!

KaptKangaroo said...

I know Mephisto's did 10 years back.

DWF said...

Perhaps I should consider a return......

stilettoGOP said...

You should. You've got class, can write, and have always been nice to the readers. ;) I like that.

(rolling eyes)
Those who know me (in real life- not just judgmental readers and/or bloggers) love me for my sharp tongue and dry wit. I don't sugar coat. I tell it like it is. I am not afraid to speak my mind. I live by "if you don't want to know the truth don't ask me". I have a huge heart, but a short fuse for BS.
Some of these readers don't deserve to be treated nicely; I think they enjoy the controversy and the sarcastic commentary.
As a writer, I don't judge other writers. I have read some pretty terrible articles in my life, but kudos to them for doing what they love. Most people spend their entire life talking about doing something- I like the ones who actually get up and do it.

Rebekah said...

Awe! Taking time away from botox to stalk people?! Classic.

Kingfish said...

I zapped because I know who Shoegirl is and the person making the comments is the nutjob from a few weeks ago who was last seen cyberstalking a well known local dj and as usual is making things up.

Rebekah said...

Well that was fun. Stalkers are fun.

Shoegirl

Back in the 1800's women wore bussles to enhance their.. shall we say "backsides". As fashion changed and bussels went out of style. Fashionestas had to find something to replace the wiggle in the walk. So cobblers came up with the idea of raising the heel on shoes. They for some reason knew as you raise the heel the buttocks tilts up and out, thus giving the wearer a new wiggle in the walk. Men were saved from just watching women without the wiggle. Now for the bad news high heels kill feet, toes, knees, spines and backs in general.

Hi Shoegirl,

If you took my comment earlier as anything targeted at you, for some reason, I was merely complementing DWF on her traits that I've always liked about her over the years..that's all. Heck I've had times where I wasn't perfectly lovely towards a reader myself, and I've certainly let my "class" slip a time or two talking about drag racing. ;-) but my comment to DWF was just that, to DWF, not aimed at you. Seemed like you read it and pounced (with an eyeroll in tow), so thought I'd disclose.

Thanks,
Stiletto

Anon 6:07-
Thanks for the info. I enjoyed reading that. High heels are extremely dangerous to the body. I see some people walking around with some that are 5 inches! Ouch! If I know I am going to be walking alot I try not to wear them. No one likes to be with the whiney girl with the high heels. I also try to stay away from too pointy of a heel- I can't balance myself on them and am afraid of falling. I like a platform wedge- they look great and are comfortable.
High heels, in general, make a women look and feel sexy. Great shoes can change an outfit and an outlook! I can be in such a bad mood, but opening the box of a new pair of Pradas can easily put a smile on my face.
And besides, I have ugly feet so I need pretty shoes to cover them up! :)

Rebekah said...

Stiletto-

Women can be mean so I did take your comment to heart. Sometimes I am more sensitive than I admit to! Sorry :(

Anonymous said...

She, shoegirl, appears to be a NUT. I guess that is why she is around...Right?

Anonymous said...

Cat fight?

Take your shoes and stillettos off girls or someone could sprain an ankle.

Anonymous said...

Kumbaya

Rebekah said...

No catfight. Misunderstanding. I got my shoes in a wad. It happens!

KaptKangaroo said...

Pumpchick actually has it together...This is for all the holy rollers in Madison...and of course all you cat fighters...

KaptKangaroo said...

And if you are wondering, the basist looks like me. I dig that robe!

We're cool.

Hey Shoe, we should just jump in some jello, fight it out. You wear some Pradas you're fond of, I'll get some trashy stripper shoes, pull each other's hair a'la "Dynasty in the water pond".. It'll be great.

Man, where IS casey ann when we need her? She'd have a feminism FIELD DAY...

Unknown said...

I'm just fine. Thanks for asking. I've been in Europe soaking up all that socialism.

Rebekah said...

As long as the jello has vodka in it!

i'd like to see more stories on regular lawsuits, not just ones involving bell, scruggs, charles evans, etc. not necessarily because regular lawsuits are newsworthy in and of themselves, but so that the readers can more openly discuss our judicial system without it being skewed by personal prejudices against the parties. i know i know, it's not my blog. i love the blog though, and this is just a feeling from a loyal follower.

for example, a man today was convicted to life for selling drugs (the big bitch), or death penalty or punitive damages, or judges taking jury verdicts away from the jury or the legislature capping damages. i admit that these are all topics i'm interested, but can't help but notice how alot of readers enjoy bantering about legal issues.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
