Someone got stupid in the Nolan Wells case. A federal grand jury indicted Edward James Porter for interstate transmission of threatening communications. In other words, Porter allegedly made death threats against the friends of Nolan Wells and their families.
An FBI agent's affidavit fleshes out the indictment.

STAY OUT OF OUR BUSINESS YANKEE!!
The humorous irony in all this is that some people are so angry that no evidence of criminal behavior exists in Nolan Wells' death. So, naturally, they go out and create evidence of criminal wrongdoing against themselves.
At least there are a few crazies going to jail.
Welcome to the Hospitality State, Edward.
Thanks to the "Rev." Sharpton and bottom feeder Crump for getting the most gullible libtards all wound up.
That's a lot of jail time for this fool. All over a kid who got drunk/high and drowned.
I think Porter should sue Crump for stirring the pot of non-existent racism, causing Porter to be a racists.
Truthfully, with this set of circumstances happening out on Horn Island, I think that all parents would want to know what exactly happened to cause their son to die. Sometimes you have to shake the bushes to find the truth. I do not begrudge them.
So, according to 2:33, we need to 'shake the bushes', as if law enforcement has been doing that for a month. By shaking the bushes, I assume he means making up shit, threatening lives and hoping for a race-based outcome.
2:20 for the win!
I’ve seen a lot of drownings. (Many at Tommy’s trading post in Brandon.)
I must say, this is longest investigation I’ve ever seen regarding a simple drowning.
2:33 the bushes have been shaken. Again and again. You say sometimes you have to shake the bushes. Yes, and sometimes there is no evidence of foul play.
Yes, the authorities are equally responsible for these crazies coming out. No, they don’t “have to” keep the public abreast of the investigation and give public updates but it’s in everyone’s best interest to.
This has gotten way too far out of hand because no one is showing leadership.
There is a HUGE difference in shaking the bushes and doing what Crump, Sharpton, and the parents did.
HUGE.
When will the Jackson County Grand Jury issue their findings. Not that anyone out of state will believe them.
Lock him up and throw away the key. People like this have no value to society and are a threat to public safety. Life in prison is only way to keep the public safe.
I haven't seen it stated anywhere whether or not the kid knew how to swim.
@4:08 since drownings became racial they will never be simple.
Certainly, everyone MUST know by now that Sharpton and Crump's entire business model is running to the nearest tragedy in which a black person is harmed or killed, when either white people are present or the black person is killed in a way that blacks deem is only possible at the hands of a white person (hanging, drowning, etc.). They then foment the notion of racism, because without that critical component, they would no longer be relevant. There HAS to be a bogey man (racism) from which they can save the black race. It's all just one huge GRIFT!
I wish you had a “like” button because there are a lot of common sense comments made. Remember….common sense. This whole shit show was a money grab from the beginning.
Yes, sharpton will shake the bushes until they turn into what he wants them to be. He’s done enough shaking there shouldn’t be much left.

Here is the pattern, Crump appears at a press conference, announces an independent investigation because of a death under suspicious circumstances involving allegations of a racially motivated killing, obtains results of an independent autopsy which contradicts the narrative of a racially motivated killing, doesn’t release the results to the public, and ghosts the family of the deceased that he has exploited for his personal aggrandizement. Rinse and repeat.
Wonder if this guy was paid to make these phone calls. He must have low IQ.
"I haven't seen it stated anywhere whether or not the kid knew how to swim."
You obviously haven't looked.
