Living in Northpointe has changed from “Oh, how nice!” to “Oh, how sad.” Jackson’s epic implosion continues.
A late model black Nissan what? A Nissan Titan pickup? A Nissan Rogue? A Nissan Altima? Perhaps a Nissan GT-R? That’s some fine police work and reporting!
Seems Jackson is spiraling out of control again with the murders. Maybe the new chief can help doubt it though
i think we all know the suspect was always going to be driving a nissan
That’s so sad. We lived in that area years ago and it was so quiet and safe. Jackson has to do better.
The ghetto and gunshots were already encroaching upon that area when I moved away from it in 2011.
It's such a shame what the City of Jackson tolerates.
C'est la vie.
It's a late model whatever they be drivin and chootin !
12:09... AM? Or... PM?
Well, disregard. I suppose being Monday mid-morning, we've only passed the AM one earlier today.
@9:57am There is no excuse for this murder, especially being at Northpointe, but you should know murder is at 15 year low in Jackson at the end of 2025, and it is currently -20% from this time last year too.
Nothing good happens along the south (Jackson) side of E. County Line Rd. Nothing.
When the new DEI chief takes over in a few days crime in Jackson will come to a halt. You can take that to the .... nevermind.
JPD's facebook post specified 12:09 AM.
Lived near there 1990 forward for many years. Was a nice place. What could be so bad that you had to kill a dude I wonder.
"A late model black Nissan what? A Nissan Titan pickup? A Nissan Rogue? A Nissan Altima? Perhaps a Nissan GT-R? That’s some fine police work and reporting!" C'mon, what you being so picky about.
When the Hinds county judge suspends most of your sentence you’re not risking a whole lot to off somebody.
Former Northpointe denizen here (80's-90's). Had a great experience growing up there, but agree it's sad what has becomeof the area. As a point of order, although the address is Northpointe Parkway, those are the apartments fronting County Line, over the hill and around the corner from where (now gated) Northpointe, the neighborhood, begins.
... but you should know murder is at 15 year low in Jackson at the end of 2025 ...
Nope. Wrong. Incorrect. False.
@10:36. We still lead the nation.
What Jackson needs is some murder equity.
@10:36 AM Wrong. That's like the Titanic sunk in shallow water or being only 50% pregnant.
COJ and Northpointe covenants should never have allowed cheap ass ugly apartments in Northpointe, even though close to County Line Rd. Northpointe should gate that hell hole off from the rest of the development, sue them to change their street name to prevent their criminality from tainting the nice neighborhoods of Northpointe.
