Some kids at Lake Cormorant High School in Desoto County spoke out against our recent Idiot of the Day in where else but TikTok.
JJ reported last week a substitute teacher who fancied herself to be a "content creator" videotaped her entire day at the high school and posted it on TikTok. The teacher, "Miata Borders", recorded students without consent and disparaged them as well. Borders put the video on all of her social media platforms.
The Desoto County School District fired Borders. Miata Borders played the victim, whining in a subsequent video her firing was not fair. "I only made one mistake," she cried.
Well, the kids have phones too and a couple of them called out the dumb sub on TikTok. They pointed out she recorded them without permission as well as her hypocrisy as well as some other inconsistencies in what she said.

Im sure teachers were alerted and some saw her. But this generation “ain’t my business”. You know damn well these kids told a teacher!

Since taxpayers subsidize the public's education, these youth should be wearing uniforms with minimal accessories, and not allowing the glamorizing and glorifying of rediculous eye lashes and nails which would not be considered professional. That poor girl has no future.
Where are the adults who are supposed to be running the schools? Seems like the policy is: "Anything goes!....just make sure we can count you present for some reason, any reason - so we can keep our funding (i.e., jobs) level".
Student's have actually been told this in DeSoto County - how their attendance is crucial to the school's funding levels. No lie.

5:14 Ditto. Some School Boards and School Administrators across this State are weak and have not interest in the students growth. Pajamas, slides, house shoes, fake eyelashes, neon colored hair, excessive face piercings have no business in the classrooms.Then you allow Substitute Teachers who look like this come into our kids space in a school setting. Something is really wrong!
Yes we have a job for you when you graduate, the ones you can wear a bag or bonnet over you hair!
This young lady in not what we inspire to be or look like then why in the hell do administrators allow this type demeanor dress/appearance allowed on school grounds, dang the students saw wrong in this why the school personnel allowed this.
