Tilting at windmills paid off for Attorney General Lynn Fitch. U. S. District Judge Taylor McNeel ordered the People's Republic of China to pay Mississippi $25 billion for its role in developing the Wuhan virus, hoarding PPE, and fraudulently selling PPE during the pandemic.
The Attorney General celebrated her victory on social media:
China orchestrated a scheme that artificially raised both PPE prices and the need for PPE in the first place. Such conduct calls for a historic penalty to achieve deterrence, thereby protecting the public.
Now General Fitch gets to collect on her judgment.

Maybe she can collect from all of the Chinese nationals totally not doing state sponsored espionage at all of the state universities.
What interest rate does the judge grant while we wait 200-300 years for the payment?
I bet that the AG has some new BFFs in the capitol who are drooling.
KF, I didn't know that you were around at the end of the great depression. :)
Meaningless. Maybe she should go after the politicians in this country that helped further the fraud and profited greatly themselves. Nothing will ever change until we see elected officials in handcuffs.
Would you like to round up to help fund the Fitch for Governor Campaign?
Parole the Goon Squad and send them to the Chinese Embassy to collect.
Not worth the paper it's drawn up on. What a waste of time.
Let me know when she collects it.
Not for the law firms the state paid to handle this. Bet they got paid. Maybe OSA should look into that. Good election-time fodder.
Nice "Mission Accomplished" banner you dimwit.
The state could possibly seize any land/property owned by China.
That number once you do all the actual math adds up to 4 dollars and sixty seven cents..................and 600 thousand student visas.
Can we just turn that judgment over to England for our Civil War debts that’ll break our state’s purse if we were ever required to pay?
@8:52 The AG's office handled this itself. There was no outside counsel.
Some crafty lawyer could well take this judgment and attach Chinese property in some way….dont be too skeptical
China buys Mississippi soybeans. Next time they're loading a ship just have the AG's staff serve them with papers and seize the cargo!
Lyn Fitch Derangement Syndrome is real. —she won’t pay up to advertise here like all the other loser politicos
FangFang Fangdango honey pot lap dances negotiable tender in CA (tinder), DC, maybe not in MS.
Good luck. A court in Mississippi is wasting our money and the courts time on this. Are the lawyers getting paid? If so, by whom? WHO ARE THESE LAWYERS? We, the people of Mississippi are no doubt paying these carpetbaggers, therefore we need to know who they are.
I didn't think about the land seizures that might mean something even if they are just in the state of MS take the farm land from them.
Like that idea.
It's a federal court and a federal judgement, so maybe outside Mississippi too?
I'm not happy until Xi Jinping isn't happy.
Stick it to those commie pinkos.
I'm a little rusty on the topic, but you can enroll judgments in other states. China would have to attack the judgment. This could be fun.
