Victoria Cox wants to plead guilty. She was indicted for helping Wayne Callihan kill 4 year-old Erin Burnett while kidnapping and molesting Erin's six year-old sister in 2024.
Callihan killed Callie Brunett at her Loranger, La. home in June 2024. He kidnapped her two children, Erin (4) and Jalie (6), and brought them too Jackson. He killed Erin when she started crying for her mother. He raped Jalie but the horror continued as his girlfriend, Victoria Cox, performed oral sex on the six year-old child as well. Callihan left the bodies of the children to rot in a ditch, covered with maggots. Earlier post on Cox indictment.
Circuit Judge Debra Gibbs sentenced Callihan to two consecutive sentences of life without parole in September after he pleaded guilty to capital murder, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of kidnapping. Callihan pleaded guilty to the murder of Callie Brunett in Louisiana. He is serving a life sentence at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola.
Cox stated in a letter to the Court she wants to plead guilty.
A hearing is scheduled for Monday although the docket does not state its purpose.

I’m honestly tired of this story and the Lindsey one too. I don’t need to be reminded weekly about the all this graphic child sex abuse and murder.
Then get lost . I've only published seven posts about Callihan or Cox since June 2024.
Won't last long where he's going. Our societal rejects will do what the cowardly justice system in this state won't. Imagine a grown man killing a baby crying for her murdered mother. Hope he cries out for his mother when that oversized set of hands is around his neck. That is, after they have their way with him like he did with that baby girl's sister.
