A former Assistant U.S. Attorney and Madison County prosecutor continues on his path of personal destruction.
How bad is it? Read the police report. If this isn't bottoming out, what is?
Mr. Yoder is probably where he needs to be, at least for his own safety. This earlier post reports on his downward spiral. To think he was once Student Body President at Mississippi College.

The charge sheet says indecent exposure and resisting arrest. But the police report just says they found him sleeping behind the building. What am I missing?
Did this guy steal your lunch money every day in jr high or something? There are plenty of people around who deserve public ridicule at every opportunity but this is pathetic on your part KF.
The man obviously needs help. Why doesn’t someone get him the help he needs? Where’s his family and friends? Where are the people who could help him? Mental health and drug abuse should be taken more seriously. Instead of getting people the help they need we just lock them up and the cycle continues
I agree. Enough shaming. Post about real criminals.
Isn't this the man who set fire to the YANA building in Fondren? The YANA building is right next door to an apartment building! This man is dangerous.
For any of us who Dow back in the day (late 1980's/early 90's for me), this is stunning in its sadness. He was intelligent, charming and funny. I don't know if his spiral is due only to drugs or if there was an underlying mental illness beneath it, but it really is heartbreaking.
I agree that his spiral down is very sad. My guess it is a combination of mental illness and substance abuse. The two go together a lot of times. My understanding is that his family tried to help him, but to no avail.
11:27, You keep showing up and saying the same things.
Many people, who actually have some idea what they're talking about, have responded to you. But you are unwilling to listen, and unwilling to change your way of thinking.
Maybe, if you become miserable enough from the disease, you will become teachable and willing to change. Until then, I give up.
That is probably how Dow's family and friends have felt for many years. I know that's how I felt, after attending some AA meetings with him years ago.
Most likely he will be in and out of jail for the rest of his life unless someone get him help. As a tax paying society we have two choices. Get him help or pay for him to goto jail.
100% correct. Addiction and mental illness are complicated. Dow refuses help. Stop blaming his family. They made the hard choice to love him from a distance until he is willing to put in the work and change.
Why humiliate this guy any more than you already have? Oh, I know... for clicks.
