Extremist Tate Reeves, bragging about Jackson’s murder rate dropping like he had a damn thing to do with it? Shout to Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba for this amazing accomplishment! So now let’s tell the truth: that decline happened under the same “radical progressive” mayor you, the entire Republican Party, the Mississippi Democratic Party leadership, Black elites, developers, and even so-called faith leaders all teamed up to oust. It took damn near millions of dollars raised from every corner of the establishment to try and bury him because you couldn’t beat him fair and square.
And why? Because MAYOR CHOKWE ANTAR LUMUMBA had the courage to shift power. He championed Black fine dining black businesses and suddenly Jeff Good and his restaurant cronies couldn’t keep a stranglehold on Black dollars. That’s what really cut y’all deep. Stay mad, because we love our fine dining Black businesses and we’re not bowing to white gatekeepers of our own predominantly black city.
But here’s the shameful part, even our faith leaders sold their souls in this mix. Let’s call it what Jesus would, “A DEN OF VIPERS”. Leaders who should’ve stood with the people instead stood with power, money, and influence. This is one of the reasons the church is bleeding, broken and dysfunctional!
What makes Reeves’ lies sting even more is the silence from some of our own. Black folks watching this erasure and saying nothing…..that silence is complicity. You let them erase radical Black leadership and hand our victories over to the same people who’ve always worked against us.
So let’s talk about it: the so-called “radical” mayor delivered results. Gun violence went down under his watch. Black businesses flourished under his watch. And it took Democrats, Republicans, elites, developers, and preachers acting as modern-day Pharisees to take him down. These acts are not symbolic of democracy. This is what you call theft wrapped in betrayal!

LOL. When using the term "damn near" one is making a point it almost took a certain amount of a lot of something. Money in this case. Usually that is used in correlation of a certain specific number. Damn near millions of dollars is not that. The correct term, although not fact, would be "it took millions of dollars", however neither of these are facts, just pointing out the fact this person is an idiot and doesn't understand the English language.

So just about everyone was sick of Chocktard, his incompetence, his lying, and his grifting, and because of that, he lost the election in a landslide. That is precisely how voting is supposed to work out.
