President Donald Trump nominated two Mississippi Supreme Court justices to serve on the federal bench. He announced on Truthsocial:
It is my honor to nominate Robert Chamberlin to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi. Throughout his time as Justice on the Mississippi Supreme Court, State Trial Court Judge, and State Senator, Robert has proven his dedication to the wonderful People of Mississippi, and our Country’s Heritage. He is TOUGH, SMART, and will fearlessly defend our Constitution, ensuring Liberty and Justice FOR ALL. Congratulations Robert!
I am pleased to announce the nomination of James Maxwell to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi. Prior to becoming a Justice on the Mississippi Supreme Court, James did an incredible job as Judge on the Mississippi Court of Appeals and, also, Assistant U.S. Attorney. I know James will continue to make his State, and Country, proud in his new position by strongly upholding the Rule of Law, and our Constitution. Congratulations James!

Winning!
Definitely
Tate gets to make his picks and oh boy the domino effect will take off. :))
Now if only the activist U.S. district court judges around the country and the activist justices on SCOTUS could be removed.
YES this is WINNING!
Too bad his failed Tariff case can’t come to the Miss. circuit .
So two vacancies from northern district. Where does Tate look? Tupelo? Court of Appeals?
I'm thinking there's gonna be another Mills (Tupelo) on the Supreme Court, and a pick 'em from DeSoto Circuit - maybe Wilson?
