On Sundays Kingfish likes to post Baptist sermons.
On Monday through Saturday, Kingfish likes to post videos that exploit the homeless.
11:16: I’m sure you meant to say “unhoused”
No one wants to see homeless living in their neighborhood or work space. And certainly no one wants them knocking on car windows at traffic lights
I’ve got news for you. Around here, the homeless are exploiting us.
@11:16 yet here you are….hope your week goes well
On Sundays, @11:16 likes to go to church.
On Monday through Saturday, they like to troll Jackson Jambalaya...
Attn 1221 p m. Do like I did, and move to Madison (the city). I do not regret it.
Where were all the others that live there? Oh, thats right up on one of the corners harassing drivers for money with NO permits while neither the Captiol PD nor JPD do anything about enforcing the new State law.
Riiiiiight. Because KF posting something another person put up on their own Instagram to use for entertainment purposes is the actual problem here. Not the fact that this type of camp exists. Not the fact that they are all out most likely panhandling or stealing to survive. Not the fact that many of them are addicted to shitty drugs. None of that is the problem. It's the fact that KF posted it. You have a severe case of cranial-rectal immersion you need to get looked at, sir.
11:16 prefers to not actually see homeless people.
He knows they exist but is uncomfortable witnessing it I guess.
In all seriousness, who was the guy with the clipboard and what was he up to?
Hard to understand anything going on, but I laughed my ass off when the camera man took a tumble.
🔥HOT TAKE🔥
Everyone involved or onscreen is high af.
Everyone
I mean at least throw the garbage in one certain area and not roll around in it.
@11:16 you're the problem. Make no mistake about it. There's nothing compassionate about letting these people live like this and trash the city. They're junkies. Society used to know what to do with these people. Now p******s like you cater to them, nationwide.
What 'new state law'? I'm still trying to afford to un-jack the front-end of my truck.
Where is this camp?
The bleeding heart lefties will blame this on drugs and/or mental health issues. Sometimes, but mostly it's a chosen lifestyle where they don't have to work and the bleeding hearts feed them, etc., plus whatever they can steal. There have been huge grants available (multi-millions) to these "homeless" organizations, which has become an industry.
Sh*t - easy compromise. Since these folks clearly don't mind living in and surrounded by trash - as is evident from the video - move them all to the 'Lumumba closed' garbage dump off Savannah Street.
Plenty of space down there that is unused at the moment; these folks won't have to create their own living environment (or transport the one they are currently enjoying) and they can enjoy all these same pleasures somewhere that won't bother anyone - except possibly a few wild hogs that currently roam the area.
Exploiting the homeless? No, making fun of the homeless because it’s funny and no I don’t go to church because I laugh at them too.
Who encourages these types of activities by providing potable water, electricity and covered places to sleep during rains?
Once upon a time, police could take those who are in that camp to Whitfield for a 48 hour evaluation or to state run facility for the disabled. Many of those folks are mentally ill or mentally incapable of taking care of themselves or holding a job and have families who can't or won't take care of them.
So what do y'all suggest for the mentally ill or dysfunctional humans? Forcing a relative to lock them in the attic?
We can't force alcohol and drug addicts into a facility to " dry out" either. And, you can't reason with or effectively help an addict until they are " clean". At least we still have a mental hospital. Most states have closed all of theirs.
This homeless camp has been a thing for 4 years. Will the new mayor do a damn thing about it ? PROLLY because they camp is made up of a certain demo. There is another one up the street on the left.
Did you know that no facility will anyone who is drunk? They have to be sober before they will accept them.
