Some sanity returned in the Cracker Barrel fiasco.
Nice. Now do something about the food and the service.

Too late, I will never eat there again
70 year old customer base …maybe that’s their future? Stores are dated and ugly but the re brand wasn’t much better.
The way people lost their minds about this (“Muh CULTURE!”) is just more evidence that we’ve become a nation of morons.
We’re not a serious people.
It’s hilarious that there’s nothing more woke than the woke police. There aren’t libs and conservatives anymore. There are people who don’t let themselves get gaslit by politics and social media and everyone else.
The memes were relentless. Plus the CEO is a rootless cosmopolitan globalist who probably never tasted the food or knows anything about “flyover” America
Who has the time to be upset about the logo of a restaurant?
Little by little, the quiet majority is taking the country back from the cultural Marxists.
Now CB needs to ditch the DEI and "Rainbow pride" rocking chairs, which were a far bigger problem than the logo change.
5:10 am I don't see consumers making or breaking a brand as moronic. There's a lot of money in this country that is not woke and wants nothing to do with it. It's called choice.
B-B-B-But, the CEO told us last week the response to the logo change was overwhelmingly positive. Is Cracker Barrel saying that their CEO lied?
Watch what happens now, it wont be getting back on the straight and narrow. They have only fallen back and regrouped…
This is all well and good, but what about the shitty food and service that CB has served up over the last few years. I've eaten at several CB's a handful of times since Covid, and none of those experiences have been good. I'm just sayin'........
It's the food, stupid.
Only the dumbest people I know were texting me about this situation, so I agree with @5:10
Bud Light sales are still down. The lessons from the 'morons' still haven't been learned.
I actually took my current wife on our first date to Cracker Barrel in Pearl. I remember she got pancakes and I got country fried steak. We went to Cinemark and saw Skyfall and it sucked because it was woke garbage.
Wow, the Trump bootlickers really got their panties in a wad over bad food and pictures of dead white folks
Imagine caring about the logo of Cracker Barrel and turning it into some culture war. Amazing stupidity.
At least this time no one said "Only in the 'sip!"....
Also do something about all the crap for sale in the gift store
Imagine losing the culture war every day and being reminded that you are an extreme minority of unhinged traitors who have lost your funding and your minds. It must really hurt to see the Right winning so much and so often.
It just shows you both sides of extreme political ideologies are bedwetters. Just stupid.
I could care less I like the food when traveling. Buc-ee’s is my choice now because I like to use a clean restroom! Cluck a logo! Then a hot sit down meal at the barrel!
If your name is Cracker Barrel, your logo really should have a picture of crackers and a barrel in it.
So. I don't eat there and only hear really crappy things about the experience these days. Let it die.
Man every time one of you smooth brains says “could care less” I just know we are close to the end of civilization.
Cracker Barrel restaurants are fine, but just not in Mississippi.
I love going to Cracker Barrel. Glad the old logo is back. Seeing all the stuff in the restaurant is fun. And I always go thru the store part. There are candies there that bring back such wonderful memories. I buy a ton of it at Christmas and put in presents to the older folks, and those my age.
Well it has the old man as the cracker and the barrel is full of Old Smoky Moonshine. The preferred adult beverage of all country fried crackers worldwide!
Don't really care about Cracker Barrell one way or another but do find the rebranding interesting as I follow marketing trends. Understanding who your customers are was hard lesson learned by Bud Light. Also - very interesting the CB CEO made part of this rebranding announcement in New York City. That would be equivalent to Mississippi State Athletic Director announcing cow bells will be banned next season at a news conference on the Oxford square?
They got a ton of free marketing and now know where people stand either them. If they work it right, they could make millions off of this marketing ploy.
Ahhh California is looking for stupid people to try replace the people that smartened up and left......you need to submit your resume.
All these comments and still nobody has given any rational for how changing the logo was "woke" in the first place. Surely its not beacuse they took the old man off of it. It can't seriously be that, now can it? Nobody is that stupid, frail, or immature to make a stink out of that.....
The end is near however it is not near enough!
Nobody said the logo is woke. You are projecting. You really don’t have the brain cells to follow current events. Stick to TikTok, libtard.
The 7:00 a.m. poster is a riot. It doesn't seem like anyone on either extreme of the political spectrum is capable of being "quiet" about anything these days. It's amazing that some people got in such an uproar about a chain restaurant removing a barrel and an old man from its logo and somehow managed to twist that into a cultural issue. It must be exhausting to go through life as a victim who views everything around you as though its a battle and your fellow citizens as enemies simply because they have different opinions. What a sad country we've become.
Well 8:45 AM, considering the tax pay'n Trump supporters are the ones that's been keeping CB & many other businesses afloat, because last I checked CB doesn't do SNAP!!!!!
Had nothing to do with being woke or the logo change. People were made because they were changing the look of the restaurants in other words, n people are tired of corporate blandness. Ask people which they prefer, that classic McDonald's look at dogwood or the brown gray prisons now
@KF but the reason for no longer having an “iconic” look is to make the real estate easy reconfigure into something else.
Snowflakes, all of you!
