Attorney General Lynn Fitch issued the following statement yesterday.
The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office is seeking information in an open investigation. Dr. Mehul Dixit was indicted on August 11, 2025 by a Hinds County Grand Jury on thirteen counts of gratification of lust of a vulnerable person and twelve counts of sexual battery of a vulnerable person. If you or someone you know may have information relating to this case, please contact the Mississippi Attorney General's Office at medicaidfraud@ago.ms.gov and 800-852-8341. Dr. Dixit previously worked as a pediatric nephrologist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The indictment is centered on clinical visits that occurred from 2013-2023.

A quick search shows he was already investigated in Arizona for some instances back around 2002, and Florida after that. How this guy kept getting privileges will be ignored.

Perhaps he could be allowed to be alone with his victims’ husbands, brothers, sons, and fathers. Just a short meeting.
