Rankin-Madison District Attorney Bubba Bramlett issued the following statement.
Madison and Rankin Counties’ District Attorney John K. “Bubba” Bramlett announced today that Kyle Wayne Dennis is wanted for failure to appear at his trial. Dennis was convicted in his absence on August 4, 2025, for the sale of methamphetamine of more than ten (10) grams but less than thirty (30) grams within 1500 feet of Pearl Upper Elementary School that occurred on August 30, 2023. Dennis was convicted of Murder in Hinds County in 1996 and was sentenced to life. He served approximately ten (10) years, after which he was released from prison and placed on parole. On August 30, 2023, the Pearl Police Department conducted an undercover narcotics investigation into illegal narcotics activity in Pearl. Through this investigation, Dennis was observed selling approximately fourteen (14) grams of methamphetamine. This drug sale occurred at the Southern Garden Estates in Pearl, which is located between the Pearl Upper Elementary School and the Pearl Lower Elementary School. Dennis’ home was within 1500 feet of the Pearl Upper Elementary School.Dennis’ trial was set for August 4, 2025, at the Rankin County Circuit Courthouse in Brandon. Dennis did not appear for his trial. The trial was conducted despite his absence. A Rankin County Jury convicted Dennis for the sale of methamphetamine in an amount of more than ten (10) grams but less than thirty (30) grams within 1500 feet of Pearl Upper Elementary School. The judge sentenced Dennis to sixty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
A bench warrant was also issued for the arrest of Dennis for his failure to appear at trial. Dennis is described as a 58-year-old who weighs about 200lbs and is around 5’9” tall. Dennis was last seen on a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
District Attorney Bramlett said, “Kyle Wayne Dennis is a convicted murderer and now a convicted drug dealer who chose to sell methamphetamine near a school, just steps from where our children learn and play. His decision to flee rather than face justice shows exactly the kind of danger he poses to our community. Law enforcement will not stop until he is found, arrested, and brought to serve the sixty-year sentence handed down by the people of Rankin County.” If you know Dennis’ whereabouts, please contact Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477). Anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for up to a $2,500 reward.

Why was a convicted murderer who was charged with a felony like selling meth allowed bond? Seems like a danger to the community.
He's up at Sturgis, Colorado at the gathering.
Sturgis, South Dakota
Perhaps you mean Sturgis, South Dakota?
City of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2025
August 1st-10th 2025, South Dakota
Sturgis is not in Colorado. It is South Dakota.
Are you referring to Sturgis Street in Colorado Springs, or Stugis, South Dakota, or Sturgis MS?
10 years on a life sentence for murder? Can't wait for my worthless legislator to run on his tough-on-crime platform next election.
Why they let that man wear his glasses on his head like that?
Looks like just another boomer who watched Easy Rider too many times in his youth.
I imagine he’s gonna do the die part of ride or die
wow....just wow
Now that we.ve established Sturgis is in SD maybe we can refocus on this POS.
1) "Convicted Murderer On The Lam", while true, is a little misleading. Makes it sound like he escaped prison while being in there for murder.
2) It appears this killer selling drugs near schools was out on bond? How the hell is that a thing? But let's talk more about where a bike rally might be located. That seems to be the important thing here.
Ok, we'll be on the lookout for a morbidly obese, old white man on a black motorcycle, not an uncommon sight these days.
Ankle monitor anyone ? Anyone ?
If on Parole, why was he released on bail when arrested for selling drugs? Shouldn't that cause him to be held? Sounds like Rankin has a catch and release program of it's own. And before you say it, I'm a Rankin resident. Releasing him on bail was stupid. What judge did that? Morrow?
Chill Out everyone. I saw him at the Ron Stewart concert at the amphitheater.
At least they don't have to look for him at the Thalia Mara show tonight.
@6:02 AM is showing his ignorance by calling a 58-year old a "boomer." Moron.
@3:29 shows their ignorance to the fact that anyone born in the 20th century is quite literally a boomer.
4:48 I'm thinking you're not familiar with the term "boomer" (short for "baby boomer"), are you? The last of the "boomers" were born in 1964. Using your ad hominem, it is "literally" you who is the ignorant one.
@4:48...I don't even know where to begin with you. Do you understand that "boomers" are part of the generation of mass births following WWII and beyond? No, not "anyone born the 20th century" is a boomer. Unless you're an idiot and don't know about Gen X, Millennials, etc. Different eras are given different nicknames and have certain traits. You, for example, sound like an ignorant, myopic, self-righteous Gen Z. I don't know how old your are, that's just the optics from your "logic".
When E.D. begins to creep in, it's mandatory that a gentleman grow chin hair and buy a motorcycle. He then trades a 'rumble' for a 'rumble'.
