Oh boy, yet another YouTuber decides to pick on Jackson. You know the drill. They come into town, pick on a few people, then express shock, shock mind you, at what they see. Feel free to pick this one apart. There are some rather obvious mistakes.

they actually nailed it
Quick! Someone link them to America’s Dumbest Gossip Blog where the commenters write like 7 year olds.
I'd rather ignore them and not give these goobers the click.
Making these videos is like a bully punching a kid whose hands are tied behind his back.
When Jay Leno was hosting The Tonight Show he would air a segment called Jaywalking in which he would ask random people relatively easy questions. He got all kinds of wrong answers and he was in Los Angeles. So why make such a big deal about this? Too many people in MS have an inferiority complex about their state. There's no need to feel so insulted every time someone make a derogatory comment about Mississippi. Get over it.
I meant mistakes by the YouTuber. North Park for one.
Did they only interview the homeless on the street -- or go to Walmart?? Why didn't they hit up a law firm or Dr. office? Their "sample market" was not evenly distributed across the lines.
Ask the next 10 people you see to point to north. Make 5 of them under 20.
@10:30 AM
😂lol
Lmao even
They are click baiting just like KF does
BTW A lot of Jay Leno's Jaywalking were staged.One I remember was of Jay talking to fellow comic Val Myers who was playing a street person.
10:09 Jay Leno never implied the people he questioned were typical of LA, nor did he ever label LA as one of the ten dumbest cities in America.
Then again, since you cannot ascertain these differences you should have been one of those interviewed.
Those guys must post here. They are expressing similar positions of some that post here.
As 10:09 said, I don't think they are picking on MS. I would bet they apply this same tactic to all markets. Nobody wants to watch inteligent people.
We watch the dummies. So they give the audience what it wants.
And it's not difficult to do in any city.

My sentiments exactly!!!!
"Wrapped in a sheet."
Lmaooooooooo
Here's once of my favorite "man in the street" sketches, from Chris Rock:

Haven't been to Jackson in years. Just curious as to what occupies what was once Deposit Guaranty, First National, and Landmark center buildings. Are they still offices, condos, or mostly abandoned. I remember when, if you worked within any of the three, you had "arrived". I once worked for Merrill Lynch when it was in the First National Bank.
What would make this great would be if those guys would ask the same questions of the Hinds County Board of Supervisors or the Election Commission. Then they would really see what dumb looks like.
@1:14
Landmark center is occupied by black mold since the upper floor pipes burst during the 2022 freeze because the heat was turned off. It flooded the building and the water damage was never remediated. The building is a total loss destined to the same fate as that Triangle office building on Briarwood
Future mayoral and city council candidates.
1:55, So the Landmark Center had the heat turned off, but not the water? Shocker.
@1:55 PM - White mold would be deemed racist by Chowke.
Not to put shade on you, 10:52, but my wife, a doctor, couldn't point out north if she were in our house, which is perfectly aligned with the compass. A bad sense of direction is just one of those things.
A bad sense of how to use your phone is different. She and her mother were never able to find Ross Furniture in Flowood one day. They called and told me this. I said, you both have iPhones that will literally tell you exactly how to get there. They said it was too complicated, and that after an hour (!!!) of driving around they were coming home.
Ahhh @1:14 the typical comment about how it’s been “years” since you went downtown. The fact you think you arrived because you worked in a certain building is about the most aw shucks thing I’ve ever heard. Thanks for coming down out of your ivory tower to shame the plebes.
5:24: Haha I feel your pain brother.
My 1994 Ole Miss education is useless compared to my son's 2023 Jackson State education. Times have changed so much since I was in college, and technology is so advanced now that I can barely use my iPhone. And programming a TV is an all day hit-and-miss project for me.
I've never met Kingfish, but I'll give each of you fifty bucks if he was NOT interviewed in this clip.
