This is the same location where the little boy was kidnapped/carnapped and murdered by the lowest form of human life several years ago. I still think about what happened to him.
Friends don't let friends shop at this Kroger. Why would a supermarket need armed security? Think about it.
Can’t believe there is only one comment? This is Madison poster red meat. Kingfish must be sleeping late.
How long do you think Kroger is going to put up with the crime at this location before leaving?
Glad the officer is ok. Good job.
Why make this announcement before you have all the facts? Why is the MBI involved? I hope for the sake of the LEO that there was a weapon.
If not for armed security no one would shop there.
6:26 am Yes, the same location. I think there have been other situations leading to shootings there, too I wonder if they need to post signs on the lot entrances warning store visitors about the increased danger level for anyone doing business with that grocer location.
They could get that nice young comedian girl to do a public service commercial saying "Shoot, I love shopping here! Seriously folks, be careful in Jacktown because someone might Jack you up here." Her wording might be funnier than mine.
Kroger should leave Jackson.
I'm sure the lawyers will be fighting each other for the inbound lawsuit against Kroger.
All the stay at home JA moms that live in eastover and ne Jackson shop there between tennis lessons as they always have on there lululemon pants and skirts. Always struck me as odd they do that knowing they draw attn to themselves
Reason #65 to not stop and shop there
This Kroger is my Kroger. I've shopped there for years. Good folks, from the manager to the guy who cleans the floors. I have never had any issues and security guys are great. The volume that this store does is incredible. Will this deter me from going there? Nope.
This is the only Kroger left within the city limits of Jackistan. The only reason any business stays is that they are still making money. The entire I-55 business corridor, including Fondren is dangerous. If you drive an F-150 the odds of the truck being stolen is pretty good.
My wife shops there weekly as I’m on call a lot and don’t do grocery shopping. I do stop in there to pick up a 6 pack for a game time to time. Lived in meadowbrook highlands for 8 yrs now and it’s a clean grocery store.
And Jackson being highest US murder rate city will not stop
you from living there
1/20 @ 11:40 - Kroger should leave Jackson.
Really? Hasn’t that already happened. Flowood and Madison each have more Kroger stores than Jackson. They left Jackson ten years ago.
Close I-55 and guess where the thugs are gonna go. It’s not Piggly Wiggly.
When this Kroger closes due the unrelenting crime, the liberal lefties in the area will be screaming the tired ‘we live in a food desert!’ bullshit to the top of their lungs.
So wait a minute.. A bad guy with a gun at a pedestrian business and the good guys do their job. But somehow…. Someway it is met with no accolades. But a similar incident happens in Pearl and it’s the praise talk of the State.
Yall crazy..
Catch me at 327
Most of you jackasses don't live in Jackson and are a bunch of cowards to scared to even come to Jackson. I live in Fondren and it is safe. Best restaurants in the City. I shop at Kroger and never had an issue though I know there have been some incidents there. Half of you are talking out of your ass and don't know what you are saying. Just cozy up in your little suburban home all safe and sound with the rest of the pansies.
Jackson is garbage.
