Some knuckleheads took it upon themselves to spread this kind of crap on social media, texts, and through word of mouth:
There were quite a few similar comments posted on social media alone. So much so that JXN Water felt the need to issue the following press release:
JXN Water plants are operating to provide Water for All. All the Time. That has not changed. We are not shutting the plants down tonight and we haven’t shut any water off. There are no widespread issues.
Deliberate misinformation is being spread tonight to try to increase demand in the system and create pressure issues that impact your water service.
Frozen pipe issues or pipe bursts within a home, property or school are not the responsibility of JXN Water. We know that weather challenges are not easy but we are all in this together. Please protect your pipes.
Customers can continue to report neighborhood leaks to us at anytime at 601-500-5200.

sounds like the family is back at work again. I'm sure the fire hydrants are being opened around the city as well, trying to make the system fail. The family can't stand not getting their beak wet from the federal dollars, and are doing whatever they can to try to discredit what can happen when a utility system is properly run without graft or indifference.
Crystal Springs Mayor says “tanks are dangerously low”. Jackson’s have been low for years and no one ever used the word dangerously!!!
I have full faith in JXN Water. We may lose pressure here in Jackson, but I know if it’s preventable they’ll prevent it. Henefin has done wonders but he hasn’t had time to replace all the aged, brittle distribution pipes.
I guess these morons thought Chokwe was still in charge of water
@ 9:00 ---- yes, Jackson's have been there for a few years. BUT the difference today is, Chockwe is not the one making the statements. Yes, when the administration was not properly staffing the plants, or paying for the required chemicals to keep the plants running, or replacing parts when they were broken and put on the shelf rather than ordersing replacements, yes then the tanks were 'dangerously low'. But now, there is a new SHERRIF IN TOWN. Henifin is on a few tangents that need to be looked at while everybody is praising his administration, but in this case -- he has brought in competent companies to manage the treatment plants (they have replacement parts on hand to be that the water can flow through the screens; and that the testing of water in the res is measured inside the plant, etc -- just basics of running a treatment plant) so --
your worry about what Chockwe told you in the past ------ ignore it. Now listen to the adults in the room and until they prove themselves wrong, put a little trust in what they have to say.
If you live in Jxn, you should expect and be prepared for low water/no water pressure 247/365.

CoDee is on Facebook. Surprise Surprise. Here's a bit from her page. Also claims to be a mystic, counselor and preacher (self ordained). From photos is also a successful booger-miner.

This latest event was less than 48 hours below 32 degrees. It was worse in January 2018 and 2010. Much worse in 1989 when we had several days below 32. Had hundreds of water leaks then and survived even though there was no OB Curtis plant!!! This is all about no money for staff and operation and maintenance. Siemens fiasco put a nail in the coffin!!! Big question is what happens in 3-4 years when the fed tit dries up???
The water was working perfectly fine. Who on Earth would have a motive to make Henifin look bad? Hmmmm
Remember peoples, the more you confuse, criticize, & disinform the enemy the more successful you are of getting your agenda!
Karl Marx, Communist Manifesto.
Water pressure in Fondren was barely enough to shower under this morning, likely because of this BS.
Last month my wife, sister-in-law and mother-in-law went to the Mississippi Museum of Art and saw one of the fire hydrants bleeding a lot of water. Wondered if that was more sabotage.
New boil water notice just issued per WAPT. It’s working y’all!
I'm sorry to say that Mr. Henifin has now started to encounter the "friends" that smiled at his face and now try to cause problems. He has done a fine job dealing with our water system and the other "issues" that this certain group of people seem to keep shoveling. Welcome to our world, Mr. Henifin.
Filling bathtubs. Seriously??? 20,000 bathtubs, 100 gallons each. That’s 2 MGD. Long way from 70 MGD!
Yep 10:01 . . .

Creating chaos and misinformation is what anarchists do.
And, they want to destroy confidence in the rule of law as that is critical to civilization.
"First we kill all the lawyers" was spoken by anarchists in Shakespeare's play.
Next burn books or the ban them since some people took the German warning by Freud seriously. Make knowledge frightening instead of empowering ( which is what it is).
Anarchists create fear and chaos and hope to leave no choice but to pledge loyalty to a charismatic leader of their choosing who will " fix" all they broke and grant them wealth and power in gratitude.
And, don't forget they are often the henchmen of your enemies and seldom does their chosen leader reward them for long if at all. We can go back to Caesar for that one but Stalin and Hitler works too.
If you get your news from CoDee Capone, then you probably also voted for Lumumba.
Any updates posted on the pressure issues? I can't find one. Didn't think I was going to get to shower this morning it was so low.
10:17 first off, it's 2MG. Not 2MGD.
The normal daily usage in Jxn is 30MGD. But as was said (read all the words, not just those you pick and choose) with the breaks that are occurring usage that day was 70MG.
Adding an unnecessary 2MG at the same time the breaks were happening - when the freeze was abating was adding to the unnecessary use. Yes, under normal situation filling those tubs would only increase the use by 8% or so - but 8% when use has already doubled is a big deal.
