Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey issued the following statement.
On Wednesday June 15th, 2022, Rankin County Criminal Interdiction Deputy Shack and his K-9 partner “Voodoo” conducted a traffic stop on a white Infiniti passenger vehicle on Interstate 20 for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop the deputy began to suspect the vehicle was possibly transporting drugs and/or contraband. A consensual search of the vehicle revealed approximately 25 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in the quarter panels of the vehicle.
The driver, Jesus Armaondo CARRASCO, was placed under arrest for aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine and transported to the Rankin County Jail.
District Attorney John “Bubba” Bramlett will bring the suspect before Rankin County Court Judge David Morrow for an initial appearance. No Bond has been set at this time.
This investigation continues.

Best headline ever.
"traffic violation"
25-pounds would be personal use for a Rankin County meth-head.
They’re not sending there best!!! True words spoken
While on routine patrol I observed the above listed vehicle go "left of center" three times within about 1-mile, and it was doing 72 mph in a 70 mph zone. Also, Voodoo had to take a leak so I made the traffic stop where he alerted to the presence of drugs by peeing on the right rear tire of the subject vehicle.
Attn :6:20 P.M. The traffic violation was a possible tire with a little less air pressure in one tire than it might need. The fact that these were Hispanic drivers with Texas plates had nothing to do with the fact that they brought out the infamous “drug dogs” to sniff the vehicle.
I feel so much safer now.
Man, He looks like he is really pissed off.
Also, those eyes look like a cold-blooded killer!
Además, ¡esos ojos parecen los de un asesino a sangre fría!
I'd call it the worst headline ever. Try "Vodoo hexes Muhammed" see if Kingfish lives until the weekend.
Does anything please you people???
"OMG drugs are bad"
"OMG they made a traffic stop and got drugs"
"OMG why did they stop him"
Poor Hey-zoos
I'm sure the cartels have called a special meeting
to get this young man out of Rankin County.
Damn Rankin Rednecks always tryna bring the small businessman down! At least if you have a couple of O’s in hidden your door panel JPD won’t suspect anything, give you a verbal, and send you on your way.
I know the dog and the deputy: after work they both are gentle guardians and playmates of kids.
On a critical note, quantos product, quantos mules, quantos morte de Biden's Cartel amigos plague America. Democrats voted for this Mexican poison in our culture.
6:39, how do you know this guy is an immigrant?
9:07 - You might have noticed his name was NOT Muhammed.
The only part cooler than 'traffic violation' is 'consensual search'.

Actually, this is the best headline ever:

But Kingfish's headline for this story is a close second.
@7:45
Sounds like there suggesting he’s not an immigrant but an illegal trespasser. I’m an immigrant. I came to this country 22 years ago from South Africa to play golf at a private school called university of Miami. Went to medical school at university of Mississippi and I’m fully legal here. So we take offense to people calling these illegal immigrants. Hope that makes sense
Why do you think so many Hispanics are now voting red. They hate illegals also.
He’s an illegal bring drugs to your screwed up family methheads. Quit bitching.
Traveling on I-20, this individual made it through Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Bienville, Lincoln, Ouachita, Richland and Madison parishes in Louisiana and Warren and Hinds counties in Mississippi before making it to Rankin County. Why can’t or why won’t any of the other sheriff’s departments do the same thing the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department is doing? Once again, way to go Rankin County Sheriff’s Department!
If you don’t like the way we handle drug mules in Rankin County, chinga tu pendejo, stay your a$$ on the West side of the Pearl.
Good job Voodoo and Rankin S.O.
that was probably the bait load. 475 pounds probably went right thru I assume. Well, at least 25 pounds got taken off the streets.
