Governor Tate Reeves released a list of additional private clinics that will provide the Covid-19 vaccine. The list is posted below.
The Governor also announced:
Earlier this week, wait times for the Mississippi vaccine call center were around two hours. Today, they are averaging 8-10 minutes. If you previously abandoned the call for long wait times, don’t give up! We want to help you and are improving daily. Call: 1-877-978-6453

Can’t read them. Blurry.
Does anyone know if these private clinics are available for front line health care workers to schedule their second dose if they were unable to schedule their second dose appointment at their original vaccine site?
There are clinics giving the vaccine not listed here.
What about southwest Mississippi? Not one in Adams, Wilkinson, Amite, or Pike counties.
Interesting that arguably the highest income and fastest growing county in the state has no site. Madison.
look at the copy of the paperwork you were given at your first dose site.
For those participating in a "drive-by" vaccine, ensure that the person giving you the injection is using fresh gloves, i.e. one pair per patient.
Oh, and don't let them inject you until the antiseptic has dried, and blowing on the injection site is a no no. You can thank me later.
The above is what happens when people get in a hurry and don't abide by approved and accepted hygenic practices.

injection site ?
Blowing ??
A "No No" ???
This is very simple:
Count me out.

Because it’s not about money
It is so frustrating that vaccinations are going slowly. I know it is a huge task. But, they have had almost a year to make a plan. Most people 65 and older will be so thankful to get the vaccination. Why is Mississippi always behind? I will believe that Governor Reeves and MS State Board of Health are sincere, if people are able to get vaccinated quickly ( in next 2 weeks).

We live in Madison and my wife got her second shot today (Saturday).
5:45 - Then what IS it about. Madison is a very populous county. I guess Tate figures all those folks can drive into the capital city. Maybe eat lunch while there. Or do a little shopping. No thanks...We'll drive to Natchez.
9:29 - Where? Oh...if your wife got her second shot yesterday, how is that? The shots are timed to be spaced 21 days apart and the vaccine has only be in town for two weeks.
Whine, whine, whine. "I want mine and I want it now!!!" And to those of you that refuse to take the shot, that suits me; more for the intelligent people.
Madison's site is in Canton, the county seat.
Frontline healthcare workers who received their first dose of Moderna this past week have no scheduled or available 28-day second dose. No cards for the second appointment were given. No openings are present on the website.
Fauci took the Moderna but let Biden* take the Pfizer.
Every timeslot from 12:20 on,tomorrow, at the Pike county health department is open as of 6 PM today. I'm 73, and can't get one of those slots. Nurses and vaccine available. Guess they'll just spend their time staring at their phones.
