Deadliest Year for Dallas Since 2005

Murder is out of control in Dallas.  Police ranks are down 700 officers over the last few years and the District Attorney said he won't prosecute a plethora of crimes.  Meanwhile, crime is up as Dallas suffered 209 homicides in 2019.  WFAA reported:

While crime rises, the District Attorney says passed out a list of crimes he won't prosecute nor will he seek bail.  Read the letter below.  This is where Little Lord Lumumba and Jody want to take us.  Watch the video to see the end of the road.

That's only 1 in 6,626, Jackistan is 1 in 5,522 and Chicago is 1 in 1,981. We're in the lead!

Dallas has white flight and seg academies just like every other urban center in America.

What racists call "culture" is the direct result of tax revenue draining to newly built suburbs.

Without that tax revenue, a spiral of failing infrastructure, failing schools, and an increase and crime and social welfare dependence grows.

All because too many mediocre whites don't want to live and compete among a diverse community.

HOAs are the answer.

Anonymous said...

@4:16 statistically it would appear the "mediocre whites" are tired of being victimized by a taxpayer funded criminal underclass propped up by activist DAs and judges.

Protip: Plenty of "mediocre blacks" are tired of it too.

Dallas has two suburbs, Plano and Frisco, that are great places to live with world class school systems. They have really drained the white middle class out of Big D. Dallas has corporations that want to be there but their SUITS move to the burbs. Not a good long term look.

"Live and compete among a diverse community."

Have you seen the Jackson suburbs? Or the public schools in Madison, Rankin, etc.? They're orders of magnitude more diverse than Jackson.

Maybe you could blame the Jackson whites of the 70's and early 80's for running for the city limits. But that ship sailed looooong ago. White flight has become "literally anybody with a lick of sense and a job" flight.

A lot of ignorant people with lousy reading comprehension. The article is about Dallas, Texas. Not Jackson.

Jackson isn't in the same league as most Texas cities. Maybe Beaumont? Honestly I think Beaumont is in better shape.

Anonymous said...

"a spiral of failing infrastructure, failing schools, and an increase and crime and social welfare dependence grows."

That's your "diverse community"? I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't find that attractive; it MUST be racism.

Anonymous said...

So 4:16pm is saying black people are so inferior and dependent that they can’t make it without white people paying taxes?

Geeze.

That’s racist.

Anonymous said...

Chokwe's ideal city...

@4:16 p.m.- Yep, always blame whitey. At least black politicians are smart enough to keep their voters by not blaming black on black crime culture- just blame the crackers and keep the paychecks rolling in...

What do high violent crime cities such as Jackson, Dallas, Chicago and Baltimore have in common?

THEY ARE BLUE CITIES!!!!

Anonymous said...

Kingfish is part of the problem. His constant cowardly censorship of reality and history prevents any sort of honest discussion. Nothing is ever going to improve without honesty and a lot hurt feelings in the black community. Time to face the brutal facts.

Dallas, Texas . . . another city that used to be nice.

The truth hurts, because it should. PC won't fix the problem.

What do all these cities have in common? Guns!!!! Lots and lots of guns!

Gimme dat said...

"Theft of Necessary Items

Study after study shows that when we arrest, jail, and convict people for non-violent crimes committed out of necessity, we only prevent that person from gaining the stability necessary to lead a law-abiding life. Criminalizing poverty is counter-productive for our community’s health and safety. For that reason, this office will not prosecute theft of personal items less than $750 unless the evidence shows that the alleged theft was for economic gain."

Now would that be retail, wholesale or market value. It makes a difference. SMH.

5:29. Jacksonville FL is a Red city. complete and absolute dump with a high crime rate. the fault of the mayor??

@5:33
Right on. Like when some dumbass easily refuted comment gets approved but KF will block any response that states politically incorrect facts and evidence.

I just thought I was incredulous when I read the new Dallas DA's letter.....then I read 4:16's comments. I really don't intend to sound hyperbolic, but my reasoning is SO different from both this DA and 4:16, it's as if we live on different planets!

These two feel SO committed to people who make the choice to violate the laws these two want so many more of, that they're willing to sacrifice their, and others', safety, possessions, etc. to make sure no one's hard on the criminals! WTF? Seriously, WTF? Someone with even pretty good sense can see that this DA's plan will all but guarantee an uptick in crime! These criminals exist to game the system, and once the system is made less burdensome, they're just going to feel emboldened! Hmmmmm, no jail for stealing less than $750 for something I can make someone else believe I "need?" Well, hell ya I'll take it! Wait, no bail even if I'm wrong? Well, hell yeah again!

Yeah, 4:16, the only reason I left my hometown of Jackson is because I didn't want to live and compete in a diverse community. Does that really make sense to you? If you really think that way, YOU may eventually be subject to criminal trespass, as you're likely to be mentally ill!

Anonymous said...

6:23, are you suggesting that none of the large cities in, say, Montana have a lot of guns? I would suggest they have as many or more........In your comment, it all boils down to WHO has the guns.

Care to refute that position?

Anonymous said...

No crime is 'committed out of necessity'. All crime is committed as a spinoff result of personal decisions having been made. But, if I keep telling myself the former is true, I'll eventually believe it and try real hard to have others join me in that belief. The more who believe it, the more comfortable I become.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, folks. You can't steal your way into leading a "law-abiding life." Will the District Attorney's office reimburse the merchants from whom the "necessary items" were stolen??

Anonymous said...

4:16 - a constant flow of excuses. You don't have to live in Madison and go to a private academy to know that murder is wrong. Face it. Basic human decency is a thing of the past for many of those you choose to defend.

Anonymous said...

6:24 - I would be interested to know who the last person arrested in Jackson for stealing food to feed their family or robbed someone for rent money. It just doesn't happen.

It's now a status symbol & admiral to be a Thug. Look at all the entertainment on TV at movies & in music. The media makes it look like these Thugs are protecting civil rights. And, the democrats promote this too. Like, I'm justified to steal, rape, & kill because I've been oppressed for 150 years.
No wonder those who have the financial ability flee (White or Black).

Anonymous said...

It will be worth the trip t Dallas to stock up on toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, and household cleaning supplies. Just keep it under $750 and it's free!

Just watch, Walmart and Sam's will have these items in locked cages like small electronics soon enough if this idiot gets his way!

The criminal justice reform retards are sending this country to hell.

Soft on crime leads to more crime.

You should see the consent decree the Obama justice department made the Baltimore PD sign. Maybe I should dissect it and post it next week. Gupta was dangerous. Very dangerous.

Yeah, I know about Baltimore. That one is going up tomorrow or Saturday.

6:54- in reply to your question I would say that having hundreds of millions of guns in our country allows anyone who desires one to acquire it easily and will result in the large numbers of gun murders that countries without all these guns don’t have. My desire to own guns is far less than my desire to not have so many people murdered every year and have to fear for my family when they leave the house.

Thanks Kingfish.
It kills me that main stream media never covers half the stuff you put out there. It's like this movie I watched, Nightcrawler, which determined what news to report for ratings.

Everyone is making the predictable comments for years now I've been reading with every crime related story.
And, again, it seems few read the piece and no one bothered to ask themselves , " Why would this official take this position?" or " How is Dallas the same or different from Jackson?"

Well, the reason the DA took the position was an overwhelmed police and judicial system that was too clogged to get more serious offenders off the street quickly. That policy seemed to be working elsewhere. Do read that we are talking about not arresting those possessing drugs in small enough quantities so as not to rise to significant dealer level.

So the question becomes " Did this decision actually affect the rise in crime in Dallas?" I don't know how many of those who were found to be in possession are responsible to the current rise in crimes. How many murders were alcohol related vs drug related?

Or were there other factors that were more determinant? Indeed, one easy factor that would go into explaining the rise in crime is that Dallas/Fort Worth led the US in population growth. That wouldn't be true of Jackson, but when we make comparisons, they should be comparable.

I suggest that we actually try to nail down what causes the problems in our communities and look only at other communities to see what solutions have worked. Charleston would be a good city to find out what they did when there city was experiencing high crime and people in the middle class and working class were moving out of the city limits. They got a new police chief but what did that fellow do and what resources did he get and how did he get them?

But, no...all of you would rather beat a dead horse. That's because you are more interested in arguing in the hope of being proven " right" than in solving problems. That is dysfunctional human behavior.

Libertarians who push for shorter prison sentences and no cash bail are just as bad as lefties who cry "institutional racism"

When is Hillary Going to Jail? said...

The Dallas DA willingly and proudly admitted in an interview in 2019 that his campaign was funded by Soros.

This is happening across the U.S., i.e. Soros is using his billion$ to ensure that socialist progressives are elected, along with disarming America.

Open you eyes, Americans!

I agree with your comments. However, I am going to jump in for my conservative friends and ask, "What is your plan?"

None of them want to be part of the solution, but they just want to run away. I understand the desire to get away from bad situations, but some situations would not be so bad, if we did not run away from people that don't look like us.

The list of crimes against being poor in that document is exactly the type of things that don't need to be prosecuted. Half the country has legal marijuana, and you dummies want to lock people up for it?

Anonymous said...

Well 4:16, why don't you show everyone how diverse you are by moving and living at let's say Road of Remembrance and Segura Ave.

I figure that you're just the typical lying liberal who like to boast the talk, but won't walk the walk.

Who wants to stay in a city where the criminals are turned lose to prey on the citizens. You can blame white flight but why not ask yourself why they are leaving. No one wants to sell their home for a lot less than it is worth. No one wants to live in a city where shootouts on the streets are so common they do not make the news. How would you like to wake up with a human head setting on your front steps?
People are leaving Jackson because they have no other choice.

Anonymous said...

8:27 a.m., according to the following link, from 2010 to 2018, Dallas wasn't even in the top 25 cities for population growth in the U.S.:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2019/11/15/these-25-cities-have-grown-the-most-since-2010/40594763/

So, where did you get the information to support your statement that "one easy factor that would go into explaining the rise in crime is that Dallas/Fort Worth led the US in population growth.."? Or are you just making stuff up?

Anonymous said...

On the bright side, Dallas' DA has just made Dallas much more inviting for criminals - including criminals from other nations - criminals who might otherwise be tempted to stay on I-20, and try their luck in Mississippi. Why move to Mississippi, if you can steal up to $750.00, every day, in Dallas?

Thanks, Dallas!!! Fewer criminals will want to move to the Magnolia State.

And if BabyChok follows Dallas' lead, then that's good news for Madison and Brandon. Why cross county lines, if the stealin' and druggin' is easier in Jacktown? (this is assuming there'd be ANYTHING LEFT TO STEAL in Jackson - an admittedly iffy assumption, considering current conditions there).

Oh, and folks, please google definitions for the words, 'Suburb', 'Bedroom Community' and 'Exurb'. Many of you are saying 'Suburb', when other terms are more appropriate. Dallas-proper is mostly a collection of suburbs. Jackson-proper is composed almost entirely of suburbs.

Hey, 8:15, what's with taking up all that space?

Also, in you zeal to correct everyone else's word usage, you got the concepts of "city-proper" and "metro area" reversed.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
