Madison physician Dr. Neelesh Tipnis surrendered his medical license on January 23. The order states
Licensee wishes to voluntarily relinquish his right to practice medicine in the State of Mississippi due to allegations that Licensee violated a provision of the Medical Practice Act or the rules and regulations of the Board, that being acts of unprofessional conduct, specifically sexual misconduct...Madison police arrested Dr. Tipnis on January 17 for sexual battery. The alleged victim is 14 and Dr. Tipnis is 49. He allegedly had "inappropriate contact" and communications with the victim.

Do you know what you call a person who graduates last in his class in medical school?
"Doctor"
12:17 - True enough, but irrelevant.
He could have graduated at the top of his class but if these allegations are true he should never be allowed to be alone with a child.
In a way, he really voluntarily relinquished his license (and everything else) when he decided to press send to a 14 yr old girl. Come on, man!
Do you know what you call a guy who finishes last in his law school class?
Server.
Sex makes headlines, and that's the reason the Med Board trots it out there. What about the doctors who "practice bad medicine", the drug addict or alcoholic doctor that misdiagnoses cancer or removes the wrong body part or leaves a sponge or instrument during surgery? When's the last time the Med Board took the license of a doctor like that for "malpractice", not because of something related to sex?
Hey 1:30,,,,Do you know how to piss off a guy who finishes last in his law school class?
Don't tip when you pay the restaurant.
What's brown and black and looks good on a laywer?
A doberman.
What’s the difference between a lawyer and catfish?
One is a ocean dwelling scum sucking bottom feeder and the other is a
Fish
Losing his medical license should be the tip of the iceberg for this scumbag. He should also serve time and be a registered sex offender for life.
Um, how about we convict him first?
I fail to understand the point of these two things:
1) Voluntarily surrendering his license.
2) Posting a blog thread about a non-event.
Um, 10:31...The language in the surrender document seems to be an admission of guilt. Don't worry, he'll be convicted - like the illegal who worked at Cazadores in Ridgeland who raped the little girl in Gluckstadt...and we'll never hear about it again. Some cultures do seem to think 8-14 year old girls are fair game.
If he has no license to practice medicine, can he legally sign his name as M.D.?
@KF 10:31
Of course; that was implied
He looks guilty.
There are doctors in the Jackson area who f__ked around with their patients but all is ok because they eventually got married. Spare me.
Several comments are about his ethnicity, where he is from, etc. Not getting approved. Has nothing to do with the story.
