JPD Officer Arrested for Domestic Violence

Madison Police arrested JPD office Larry "Mitch" Perry on November 20, 2018 for two counts of Simple Assault Domestic Violence.   The victim accused Perry of hitting her in the face, pulling her hair, and pulling out their daughter's hair as well.  JJ obtained the police report through a public records request.  It is posted below.

The reports state that the victim, "Mildred",  called Madison police to her home because of an alleged assault on her and her 10 year-old daughter.  The woman and her child met the police in the driveway.  Perry is the father of the child, "Samantha".  Mildred said she went bowling with friends.  She said she had one drink earlier in the evening.  One officer stated he "noticed a red mark on her left cheek and some discoloration around the corner of her left eye."

She said she needed to go into his bathroom to get some Vicks for Samantha's nose.  She knocked on his door.  Perry allegedly came out of the room, pulled Mildred by her hair, and shoved her to the floor. He also allegedly grabbed Samantha "by her head", pulling hair too, shoving her out of the way." Mildred said Perry slapped her in the face. Samantha told the police that her dad "slapped" her mom in the face and pulled her hair.  Several officers reported they found a "clump of long hair on the ground" that belonged to the child.

The police found Perry in his bedroom. He said "he was asleep and didn't touch either one of them. He said Mildred has a mental issue and 'here she goes again.'"  However, the police officer said Perry "appeared to be impaired" and admitted to having "a few" drinks.  The police arrested Perry and secured several weapons.  JPD retrieved his vehicle.  Perry said in booking "he did not give a f*** if he lost his job" and that "he knew he was staying with a stick of dynamite."   Perry is currently on suspension at JPD.

Kingfish note: It looks like we have a volunteer for Rhukia Lumumba's conflict resolution program.

Madison PD is garbage. I had a friend recently try to commit suicide and the cops beat him as he was bleeding and threatened us if we recorded.

@3:37

For some reason I don't believe your story. Tell the WHOLE story and I might reconsider.

No, I do not live in Madison.

I’ve lived in Madison and several other areas. I don’t owe you shit but here you go. A friend in Harvey Crossing quit his job and threatened to kill himself. He was born with a spoon in his mouth, so his parents, told him they were going to put him in treatment. He threatened to kill himself if they tried to have him committed and she called the police. He heard the sirens and stabbed himself. His words not mine. His mother said she tried to record because once the cops got there he freaked out and the cops (5-6) pretty much jumped him. He’s white too. She kept screaming cause they were making it worse and kicking him and told her they’d charge her with obstruction.

No one has to believe anything I’ve said. No one believes anything anyone says anymore. Should see what the cops did to a suicidal bleeding man though.

By the way, 4:56, I don’t believe you’re human or even a US resident. If you prove otherwise I MIGHT reconsider. You’re probably just some fat rankin county cuck.

You can google this new study...data can be made to show almost any desired outcome, but domestic violence is a problem.
"Two studies have found that at least 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence, in contrast to 10% of families in the general population," the National Center for Women & Policing says. "A third study of older and more experienced officers found a rate of 24%, indicating that domestic violence is 2-4 times more common among police families than American families in general."

But if you really want to learn something, research BPD. Usually people say "There's your story, their story, and somewhere in the middle is the truth". Not with BPD. The "living with dynamite" comment in the article brings BPD to mind. Unless you have expericenced a relationship with someone with BPD, you can't fully understand how someone can create a incident, then are able to "splice" and edit their memory and BELIEVE everything they say and feel. Even more scarier is the articles on Children raised by a BPD parent. Reddit has some of the most raw experiences.

Madison

- Mississippi’s Most Successful City
- Mississippi's Safest City
- Best City to Live in Mississippi

Madison PD is a big reason why!

Ok, get off the damn regionalism/tribalism crap. This post is about a police officer being accused of ripping his child's hair out and beating his SO. Stick to that. That means you.

What does Madison or the quality of its police department have to do with this, other than it was the jurisdiction in which a _JACKSON_ police officer happened to be when he decided to beat up a woman and his child, thus making the Madison PD the default and appropriate agency to respond?

7:41 is correct. The real problem is that cops won't take as much action against cops because they know a conviction will take a cop, good or bad, off the street to unemployment. Sad but true. See it happen and not just with DM, but DUI as well.

Feel sorry for the wife and child.

Sounds like the guy is a fuck up and does not have the disposition to be an LEO.

On the other hand, I could easily see how working in Jackson as a police officer could be corrosive to one's judgement and outlook on life.

This guy needs to get away from alcohol and the badge.

I don't see this as a Jackson issue. I don't see it as a Madison issue. I don't see it as an issue of being employed as a police officer. It really has nothing at all to do with any of the three.

It's a simple domestic issue that escalated to a point where it should not have. It's a human behavioral issue. Perhaps an anger issue fueled by alcohol, but I can't say that for sure. All the rest is intended only for emotional value.

And before somebody tries to make it a 'race issue', let's not go there since we have no idea which of those are of what race.

This might be post-worthy after the officer is found guilty of this alleged crime.

He was arrested - only that. Not a single allegation has been proven and this report does nothing except tell one side of a story.

Know how many false DV reports are made each day? Each year? "Innocent until proven guilty" is apparently dead and lost.

If you're telling me there was a clump of long hair on the floor, I wanta see some close up photos in microscopic vision showing some roots. Otherwise, it's BS.

That report is horrible. A supervisor should write much better than this.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
