Looks like a certain Mee-chigan coach is attempting to poach some Ole Miss football players. Chase Parham tweeted this picture today:
No surprise as Harbaugh needs a quarterback and is probably starting to feel the hot seat up in Ann Arbor. He hasn't quite been the savior those Yankees expected. Hope he realizes that Patterson is a two-fer deal.
It appears Ole Miss got caught trying to pull somewhat of a fast one. Athletic Director Ross Bjork said Friday that only rising seniors could freely transfer to other schools. Lower classmen would have to get permission from Ole Miss. However, Ole Miss would not allow any of them to transfer to other SEC schools or teams that play Ole Miss on the football schedule. Some of them ran to a lawyer and suddenly Ole Miss backtracked. Of course, they can transfer to any other school if they just follow the regular procedures for transferring. Players aspiring to transfer must obtain permission from the NCAA before they are allowed to do so.
Ole Miss is probably better off without Patterson. He has talent but his back-up played pretty damn well this year and got better as the season progressed. One wonders if a qb or his family doesn't want him to have to compete for the job. Another reason he is looking at Mee-chigan instead of LSU. There is no Miles Brennan awaiting him up north. Other players are looking to transfer as well. Stay tuned.

When Harbaugh was winning early with the Niners he was doing so with Mike Singletary's players. Once they got a few drafts down the road the team fell apart. Same thing is happening in Michigan.
You don't have to go all the way to Michigan to join an 8-4 team that can't beat their in-state rival.
The University of Michigan refers to that aircraft as "Grace" and once they toss Shea Patterson out of it with a parachute over rural Kentucky he's gonna fall further than any other "legendary quarterback" from Ole Miss other than a Manning.
Ole Miss could have had Mike Singletary, but Ross wanted a nobody.
I got to meet Coach Jim Harbaugh today! I picked him up at the airport and took him to the gas station for a chicken on a stick and a "pop" (?), then we drove around the square like 8 times! I think he is jealous of Matt Luke!
"You don't have to go all the way to Michigan to join an 8-4 team that can't beat their in-state rival."
Neither do you have to search very hard to see the results of the past ten years. Can't Beat?
Or.....take a look at the tally sheet for the past twenty five years and tell me who can't beat who(m).
I can't believe you goobs still have Bee-Ork on the payroll. Reminds me of Nutt staying on the payroll (and sidelines) for months and months after he was fired. Bjork should have been put in an outbound boxcar four months ago. And it not then, yesterday.
Naw he ain't jealous, he was just trying to figure out why anyone would want to come to the God forsaken place.
Once Harbaugh tastes that crockpot possum in The Grove and hears all that homey history about Faulkner, Meredith and Khayat, he will never wanta leave East-Batesville.
He might take a player or two,but he can't take away all of the national championships, Miss Americas, Rhodes scholars, and the Grove. Try as they may, the rich heritage of Ole Miss and the Grove will not fail.
HA! This has been a fun week, and it's only beginning. Much like the Jelly of the Month Club, the UMiss sanctions will be "the gift that keeps on giving the whole year." Except the ripple effect will make it this year, next year, the year after that, the one after that, and probably even the one after that. Finishing behind the RebelBearSharks will be a terminable offense in the SEC!
All of the national championships probably wouldn't be a very heavy lift.
Y'all are listening to that national elite liberal media a little too closely if you think Harbaugh is on any kind of hot seat. Just media companies pushing a narrative.
Attn 8:23
listed below are our national championships. Try lifting these.....
Clyde Berryman 1959
The Dunkel System 1959
Jeff Sagarin 1959
Billingsley Report 1960
College Football Researchers Association 1960
Harry DeVold 1960
Football Writers of America 1960
Williamson System 1960
Litkenhous 1960
sugaring 1962.
He is actually breaking NCAA rules. I bet the NCAA will look the other way since it’s Michigan.
Ole Miss has players?
LOL what, 9:06? No, he isn't. The Ole Miss players have been granted permission to transfer (and thus permission to talk to other schools), and they reached out to Michigan.
8:38, you must not pay attention to northern and Midwestern football. Harbaugh is 0-3 against Ohio State 1-2 against Michigan State. Sustained losing against your rivals at Michigan is a sure ticket to the hot seat.
It may be a violation to solicit these players, but there is nothing wrong with a coach sending a Christmas card with his name and phone number on it.
8:23, you're delusional. Yeah, I'll give you the 1960 title, but when the NCAA doesn't even mention those other two years, then I call bullshit. And 1960 was pre-integration, which makes it even more irrelevant here in 2017. But y'all hang on to your 'rich heritage' up there in the land that time forgot. Read it and weep: http://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/college-football-national-championship-history
Pittpanther...there is zero support in the Michigan fanbase for firing Harbaugh. Even when the offense and QB's were sputtering halfway through the season, there was only mixed support for shaking up the assistant coaches.
And no, 9:40, it's not a violation to contact players who have been granted permission to transfer and have reached out first.
What kind of joke is that list at 8:55? And why didn't you add the fact that the Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce and three Oxford Area VFW Lodges declared Old Myth to be national champs on two other occasions in the mid fifties?
"Harry Devoid"? lol. Was he a stand in for John Holmes or what?
Do not forget in 1960 Ole Miss won the Nathan Bedford forrest trophy and the John Wilkes booth award.
As an Ole Miss fan, I have no problem believing that Ole Miss was one of the best teams in the country in the 50s and 60s. But, the 1960 National Championship is the only "real" one that could be claimed. Of course, you have to expect MSU fans to belittle Ole Miss' football history. Our times are old and almost forgotten. Their's never were.
