The last LEO-related murder/suicide was also a HCSO employee, but that was in Rankin County about 2-3 years ago. He pulled the trigger with two kids in the house. Steroids were rumored to be involved. I wonder if that's the case here as well.

When my 1st wife left me it took several weeks to get over the grief, but after a few long necks, I put my hand back on the plow. Guy keep your hand on the plow O Lord. When my second wife walk out, I said I'm not going to let NO women or court system blow my mind. So, here I am lonely as hell but with my estate intacted.I know my pet turtle loves me. I can understand every once in a while, but when you see 5 similar stories like this in one week - its a problem.

The Madison sheriff supposedly held a press conference at 10:30 this morning. Why would the Hinds County Sheriff also hold one. He's assembled the troops for whatever comfort he can provide, or bring in. What can he possibly say to the public since he did not investigate the case nor should he have?

How do we know he shot her. She could have shot him. Have they said what exactly happened yet? All I know is all the headlines read Hinds Co Sheriffs deputy shot dead in Madison home. Almost sounds like she shot him. Dont know if its true or not. But I read on FB that she shot a UMMC police officer a couple of years back. It said the officer she shot had his vest on and it saved his life. Remember we dont know who the last one holding the gun was yet.

Hey 11:42, yeah out of respect to his Deputy, yes Mason should have had a press conference. The same way Tyrone had one for Chris Smith, When that happened in Rankin County.

11:42, gathered the troops..lol, that's funny. I've worked in LE for over 25 years and we were NEVER offered anything, No counseling no consoling nothing. Unfortunately, this is part of our job and the high stress that comes with it.

The woman was also an instructor in Hinds County school district. Prayers to her family and students! So sad!!!

No one was there, so no one really knows what happened. Madison Co is covering for Hinds Co I think. Who shoots them self more than once before shooting self in the head? Never heard of it. The sheriff and his mother worked with Victor Mason, so they are trying to keep their image! Not caring that they make her seem like a suicidial murderer to her son. The families know the truth and are ok with lying to look good to public but be honest. No need to be shamed. Someone knows what happened and is not talking. Let her rest in peace!

What’s the latest on this case? WLBT said the woman has been cleared by MBI, that it was the HCSO that shot her then himself!?!? So I guess that means either Randy Tucker and his deputies are idiots or Randy Tucker was protecting the murderer because he had a badge??? Thoughts?

MCSO Randy Tucker sure is being quiet on this issue. This family deserves an apology and explanation!!! They either messed up or covered up! Are they incompetent or crooked? Makes me wonder how many other investigations they botched or covered up to fit their agenda? Maybe Tucker is so quiet because... It's an election year!
