Yawn

So tired of this election cycle.

Shadowfax said...

9:56; this is arguably the most important election of your lifetime and that of your children's lifetime. How can you possible simply 'yawn' at it? Makes one wonder what the hell your priorities might be.

Shadowfax 12:02 - your comments usually aggravate me, but you are so right on in your response to 9:56.

I've heard that "most important election of my lifetime every four years since Nixon's first election.

All the polls say the Republicans will control the House.

That's all I need to know.

There's not enough difference between Obama and Romney to get me interested in the presidential race.

I am interested in whether the GOP can win the Senate.

Otherwise...it is business as usual.

Not enough differences between Obama and Romney???? What internet are you reading?

OK...I'll revise.

IF you are a conservative, there is no significant difference between Obama and Romney.

IF you are a Republican idiot, there is a huge difference between Obama and Romney.

If you are a conservative, Romney and Obama are socialist liberals.

If you are a Republican idiot, you sincerely think Romney will somehow do something different.

If you've undergone a frontal lobotomy as September 1, 2012 7:36 PM has you sincerely believe that people here highly value and really give a damn about your spittle.

You might consider going over and posting on Anderson's blog. He needs more devotees to sing in his choir there.

7:48. If nothing else, the next president could also have an opportunity to appoint supreme court justices. Do you want another one or two liberal appointees?

Anonymous said...

Did he mention the casinuhs?

Shadowfax said...

I suspect if the socialist loses this one, we will see two supremes retire before the end of the year. I'm not at all sure there's value in a republican appointment anyway. Look what happened with the last two.

Don't call the Kenyan a socialist Shadow. That really pisses the redistributionist attorney Anderson off.

Reich one it's the socialist? Obamacare vs. Romneycare. I don't care.

I wish Mississippians would wake up and realize that Barbour is a power hungry globalist just like the Democrats.

Swype put in Reich instead of Which, how fitting. None of them care about the proper role of government.

CBS' Bob Schieffer: George Bush is not on the ballots. said...

An example of the long term mental risks from eating crap sandwiches:

Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley of Maryland, who is considered a possible contender for president in 2016, bucked other Obama surrogates on Sunday, saying that the country was not better off now than it was four years ago.

On CBS's Face the Nation, host Bob Schieffer asked: “Can you honestly say that people are better off today than they were four years ago?”

Responded O’Malley: “No, but that's not the question of this election. The question, without a doubt, we are not as well off as we were before George Bush brought us the Bush job losses, the Bush recession, the Bush deficits, the series of desert wars -- charged for the first time to credit cards, the national credit card.”

To a savvy connoisseur of ducking and issue avoidance like Anderson this O'Malley stuff is like a fine wine. Enjoy!

" Did he mention the casinuhs? "

Yeah 10:25, he did.

Haley again told the world that they have "hitched up
their britches" .

@ 9:58 Do you really believe Romney will appoint conservative justices to the SCOTUS?

Why do you think a socialist liberal like Romney would do that?

Prices at the pump reached a national average of $3.83 Monday, according to AAA, setting a record high for a Labor Day. The previous Labor Day record of $3.69 was set in 2008.
.....
Gas prices have increased by 23 cents in the past month during the height of the summer driving season.
.....
High prices will probably linger. “While prices should drop in September barring any major developments, we expect gasoline to remain at or near record highs through the end of 2012,” AAA spokesman Avery Ash said in a statement.

Anderson's Sandwich Shack said...

The great think about a crap sandwich from Anderson's Sandwich Shack is that you can pay for them with food stamps.

A taxpayer remits the money to the government. The government gives the food stamp to you. You buy a crap sandwich from Anderson. Anderson gets paid by the government for the food stamp and makes a profit. Anderson then encourages everyone to keeping voting for the people who promise to keep you eating those good crap sandwiches.

A record 46.7 million Americans received food stamps in June, up 0.4 percent from the previous month, the government said.

Participation was 3.3 percent higher than a year earlier and has remained higher than 46 million all year as the unemployment rate has stagnated just above 8 percent.

Mr. Incomplete said...

Apparently many voting Americans disagree with Anderson because they know that an 'Incomplete' is not considered to be a passing grade.

A majority of voters believe the country is worse off today than it was four years ago and that President Obama does not deserve reelection, according to a new poll for The Hill.

Fifty-two percent of likely voters say the nation is in “worse condition” now than in September 2008, while 54 percent say Obama does not deserve reelection based solely on his job performance.

Only 31 percent of voters believe the nation is in “better condition,” while 15 percent say it is “about the same,” the poll found. Just 40 percent of voters said Obama deserves reelection.

The Democrats try to give the presidency away and the Republicans nominate a guy who believes Jews founded America.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
