Chokwe speaks

Chokwe Lamumba gives a nice little speech a couple of years ago on a run for Mayor. Oh yeah, he's serious, trust me. "The Democratic Party started with the Ku Klux Klan". Read on:

He's off by about 70 years, but that is among the least of his problems.

That is a riot! I guess if you say it it must be true. Geesh.

You've seen those old Jefferson nickels with the burning cross on the back, right Kaptain?

Having grown up in the Delta, I now understand why most people are considered racist by the elites of today. My parents had a small family business that put four children through college. My Dad grew up poor on a small farm and was friends with the black sharecropper's children. He always stressed to us the importance of hard work and to give everyone a fair chance, regardless of skin color. However, I have just turned 50 and have realized that Obama's vision of America is what Deltans feared. The black churches, many with Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright type preachers who stole from their parishioners, whipped up their congregations weekly filling them with hatred toward the whites. It is much similar how the mullah's in the Middle East prey on their ignorant flocks. Chokwe, much lighter skinned than our president and filled with so much hatred toward his white heritage, wishes to bring Obama's Marxist style of politics to the Bold New City. If this happens, Jackson (oh, the name will be the first thing he changes) will probably be one of the first state capitals where the State will take receivership once Chokwe runs out of money through the redistribution of taxes to the ignorant masses, kept on the plantation, not by the white man, but by JPS.

Why is anyone surprised by this? Lumbuttba knows that this is the time to be all in for the push to create what he dreamed of as a leader of the Republik of New Africa. Once he becomes the Mayor of the capital city of one of the states that the RNA decided is theirs, he knows that it'll be too late.
If he is defeated, hopefully the pendulum will begin to swing back and it'll be after he's dead from old age before they have another chance.
If he is successful, Jackson is truly lost.

If you're trying to sound less crazy than Chokwe, you're doing it wrong.

Chokwe is just the counterpart of the nuts crying how Obama is a socialist. None of them put together would have the sense to pour piss out of a boot, even if the instructions were printed on the heel.

Anonymous said...

The "Cotton Curtain"?!

If this nut job gets elected, Jackson is toast.

Why would anyone sane person still live in there. I wonder why I still live 20 miles away.

Anonymous said...

He'll make the runoff.

Anonymous said...

Hopefully one of his homeboys will take him away ... literally.

Anonymous said...

The post says the speech was yesterday, while the date on the video is from 2009. Just sayin'.

A growing whiff of fear is left in the wake of Anderson's increasingly strenuous efforts to posit that Obama is not a Socialist.

He clings to some textbook-like definition of Socialism as a shield, as a litmus test.

So what if he is a Socialist Anderson? Why does the possibility scare you so?

Anderson said...

LOL, 2:28 ... the only thing that "scares" me is how much you sound like Dr. Arnold Smith.

Hard to isolate the funniest thing in your short comment, but I'm going with this:

"He clings to some textbook-like definition of Socialism ..."

Imagine that! Behaving as if a word should mean something in particular.

Looking forward to the next Tea Party event where they burn a pile of dictionaries ... damn elitists telling people what words do and don't mean! Real Americans don't need that!

Anderson,
Chokeme has a verifiable history. Educate yourself just a little bit, little fella.

Anderson said...

Uh, what have I said about Chokwe other than to mock him? RIF.

The man is a professional fool.

Shadowfax said...

What the hell is 'The Cotton Curtain'? As if Chokeme ever hauled a sack. He was never down with the struggle. But, like Bennie, he can lead a bunch of sheeple and one-eyed carp.

Taliaferro is moving in on the Mista & Mizz'ez Stokes comedy hour.

Thanks KF. The months leading up to the Jack-town Mayoral election are guaranteed to be some of the
funniest political shit this State has ever seen.

In retrospect, Cliff Finch now looks like Thomas Jefferson .

What are Choke-way Taliaferro's plans to stop the boil water alerts in the " Capitol City" ?

"why would any sane person live in there"... some people have to be front lines so that the suburbs even exist

The Democrat Party and the Ku Klux Klan: Aside from the multiple Klan members who have served in elected capacity within the high ranks of the Democrat Party, the political party itself has a lengthy but often overlooked history of involvement with the Ku Klux Klan. Though it has been all but forgotten by the media, the Democrat National Convention of 1924 was host to one of the largest Klan gatherings in American history. Dubbed the "Klanbake convention" at the time, the 1924 Democrat National Convention in New York was dominated by a platform dispute surrounding the Ku Klux Klan. A minority of the delegates to the convention attempted to condemn the hate group in the party's platform, but found their proposal shot down by Klan supporters within the party. As delegates inside the convention voted in the Klan's favor, the Klan itself mobilized a celebratory rally outside. On July 4, 1924 one of the largest Klan gatherings ever occurred outside the convention on a field in nearby New Jersey. The event was marked by speakers spewing racial hatred, celebrations of their platform victory in the Democrat Convention, and ended in a cross burning.

A little known fact of history involves the heavy opposition to the civil rights movement by several prominent Democrats. Similar historical neglect is given to the important role Republicans played in supporting the civil rights movement. A calculation of 26 major civil rights votes from 1933 through the 1960's civil rights era shows that Republicans favored civil rights in approximately 96% of the votes, whereas the Democrats opposed them in 80% of the votes! These facts are often intentionally overlooked by the left wing Democrats for obvious reasons. In some cases, the Democrats have told flat out lies about their shameful record during the civil rights movement.
Democrat Senators organized the record Senate filibuster of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Included among the organizers were several prominent and well known liberal Democrat standard bearers including:
- Robert Byrd, current senator from West Virginia
- J. William Fulbright, Arkansas senator and political mentor of Bill Clinton
- Albert Gore Sr., Tennessee senator, father and political mentor of Al Gore. Gore Jr. has been known to lie about his father's opposition to the Civil Rights Act.
- Sam Ervin, North Carolina senator of Watergate hearings fame
- Richard Russell, famed Georgia senator and later President Pro Tempore
The complete list of the 21 Democrats who opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 includes Senators:
- Hill and Sparkman of Alabama
- Fulbright and McClellan of Arkansas
- Holland and Smathers of Florida
- Russell and Talmadge of Georgia
- Ellender and Long of Louisiana
- Eastland and Stennis of Mississippi
- Ervin and Jordan of North Carolina
- Johnston and Thurmond of South Carolina
- Gore Sr. and Walters of Tennessee
- H. Byrd and Robertson of Virginia
- R. Byrd of West Virginia
Democrat opposition to the Civil Rights Act was substantial enough to literally split the party in two. A whopping 40% of the House Democrats VOTED AGAINST the Civil Rights Act, while 80% of Republicans SUPPORTED it. Republican support in the Senate was even higher. Similar trends occurred with the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which was supported by 82% of House Republicans and 94% of Senate Republicans. The same Democrat standard bearers took their normal racists stances, this time with Senator Fulbright leading the opposition effort.

Anderson won. Some funny stuff.

Hmmm. For some reason, I thought a person affiliated with a particular political party because of the ideals of that party and whether or not those ideals aligned with his own. But, he's saying you choose based on whether or not the racial makeup in the district where you want to serve matches your particular race. Then, after you win, if the party you chose to get elected doesn't actually represent your views, you just create yourself a new one. Interesting concept but, hey! It worked for Obama. I just hope he soon figures out what his position on something actually IS so he can settle down and select his new party's name. I'm anxious to find out what its going to be.

Is Brandon's existance dependent on the State Mental Hospital? As long as the lunatics stay in the asylem, all is well.

If you want to stay in Jackson, that is your choice, and I wish you well. I choose to avoid having another thug stick a gun stuck to my head while robbing me.

As for the poster who believes that everyone is a nut-job who thinks Obama is a socialist; since when is "Newsweek" is conservative rag? In 2009 after Obama's spending spree started, Newsweek's cover declared the US is "now Socialist".

One of the sadest things he said, was that a black man could not get elected running as a republican in MS. I know plenty of Black people I would vote for if they ran republican. However with this type of speech, it makes it hard for that to happen.

Anderson said...

Oh well, who am I to disagree with Newsweek?

(The op-ed in question, while none too brilliant, is actually a tad more nuanced. Newsweek likes to sell magazines; cf. this recent example.)

8:04 am, once they have taken all of jackson.. theyll just stop huh and be content... nope they will start going after every little small town around jackson

if ludumba, bluntson and poor pitiful harv is all jackson has to offer then we are totally fucked!

Anonymous said...

9:12 I agree with you, but at least the small towns have real cops as opposed to the do-nut eaters on the Jackson Police force.

I disagree. If that's what Jacktown has to offer, the rest of us are in no danger. An army of imbeciles brandishing plastic straws and lobbing wiffle-balls will trip over their own left feet long before they 'take over' surrounding areas.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
