Vote for your favorite blog.
Just posted a new poll about the local blogs. As some people will wonder why I didn't include Sid Salter or Marshall Ramsey, I think an explanation is in order. The poll excluded blogs by journalists and professional media outlets. I tried to limit it to blogs that covered the Jackson area to some degree, and didn't include websites such as Magnolia Report, which are not blogs but aggregators. (They just post headlines from other websites.) Vote early and often and if there is one I missed, feel free to let me know.

Nope. Its a serious one. I did vote for NMisscommentor though.
That's a tuffy. I see 3 or 4 favs in there.
Yup. I voted for NMC.
Thanks for the kind words, stilettoGOP. I am glad you enjoy the site. Yes, the Freeland Cemetery located near Windsor Ruins is the final resting place for many of Tom's ancestors. That is one neat cemetery!
Pretty easy choice for me.
If this poll excludes journalists and professional media outlets then where's the JFP's ballot box at?
In that case I'm voting for Jackson Jambalaya.
WAIT! This is a humor poll?
There can only be one.
I hereby offer

as a write-in candidate for this poll!

can i just vote AGAINST all of them.
Guess I should have put a wink under my comment ;)
Do you think it's really fair to put your own blog on the list? Obviously, if people are visiting your site, it's one of their favorites.
Wow, Marty. I looked through the first 7 pages of your site, wasn't expecting anything that great honestly but, man those are some amazing photos! The cemetery shots are gorgeous, particularly the confederate and memorial day pics. The "Freeland" cemetery as in "Tom"? Those and the Cedar Hill photos are beautiful. They all are. The old church photos can give you chills. Also glad you mentioned owning snake boots.
It's bullshit. Let us vote for two. We're comparing apples and oranges here and I like mixed fruit cups. Completely different focus. Kinda like Playboy and Architectural Digest, I enjoy both.
And one more thing, who made up the rule that dessert is the last course served?
That's my point also. Obviously there are differences. Why can't we vote for two?
