THanks. got the idea when a friend of mine, who knows a family member involved, had no idea what was going on in the media and did want to know so I decided to put this up there. I have additional commentary coming. however, I'm waiting a few days. Story is still breaking and I need to think abouto what I write before I do.

Similar situation here. I usually have to ruminate on things before I write about them. Hard to strike when the iron's hot.

Thanks for gathering all the material in one place. I do have a gripe though for the POLICE...Why did they allow George Bell III to stand at the back of the van to allow photographers to snap away as if he were a celebrity. He is a KILLER! He should be kept in a cold dark place while the demons of his soul eat away at him. That is if he has a soul!!
This is a classic example of a person who has never paid the consequences of his actions. I bet he has always had someone there to clean up after him. To sweep his bad behavior under the rug and dismiss it because he had a problem with DRUGS. That excuse does not hold water with me...Sorry for the rant but I absolutely hate it when someones bad behavior is blamed on their decision to blurr their reality with chemicals. It is no excuse, period!!

Better yet, they sucked that girl in. While he was in "rehab", she was working for Ms. Bell. Hmmm.....son beats g/f nearly to death. Son flees out of the country (Mexico). Son placed in rehab. Daughter goes to work for mom and drops charges. Mom throws welcome home party for son when he gets home from rehab. How bizarre is that? After son kills daugther, mom is over there and never notifies police.

This goes past enabler.

I see it as ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT and AIDING AND ABEDDING!!

I still want to know which cop or judge dropped the charges.

and by the way, what I meant was THEIR son killed the Spencer's daughter. THEY have money. Enough to own several homes, stores, etc. THEY should be paying for her funeral. The Spencers shouldn't even have to be setting up a fund. Of course, if they have done so, I stand corrected. I'm just angry when I see that family having to set up a fund to pay for her funeral.

I agree but I believe MONEY was the root of EVIL in the Bell family. If you have enough of it then you are excused....Right?

But in regards to the funeral, sometimes its just doing whats right.

Its character time. Were you just giving her jobs etc to shut her up or now that she is dead, are you going to do the right thing?

There's no question that the Bell family should pay for Heather's funeral. But they're not going to and we need to all do our part and help to ease the financial strain plaguing the Spencer family. If just 150 people donated $100, the funeral and it's associated expenses would be paid for. It's all part of the whole "do unto others" lesson that we've been taught since birth. Please take a moment to go to the nearest Bancorp South branch and donate to the Heather Spencer Memorial Fund.

9-17-07 My Diary
Another day spent in court. Another woman begging for someone to help her. She's scared she tells the Judge. I have resorted to placing carefully cut pieces of wood above my windows to keep someone from raising the window and entering my home. He comes through the window when I am at work. He walk around my home and touches my things. He reads my mail and often takes incoming mail from my streetside mail box before it evers gets inside my home. I find his calling cards outside my home. His little reminder that no one will keep him from me. No piece of paper from the court will protect me. Blankets cover my windows Judge because I see him watching me from across the street.
I have been asking for help for Years now and nothing. I left the court room today asking them to remember my face because they will see it again when he is on trial for murdering me.
I feel like I am worth nothing. Why do I have to wait until he has killed me to find some peace. Why is my life not worth someone hearing my cries. I look at my loved ones who came to support me. They love me so much and have watched as the years of abuse have aged me to soon. I'm sure they feel helpless as we exhaust every avenue available. I have once again gone unheard. God keep me safe and don't let go of my hand.
