Squatters are destroying yet another neighborhood in Northeast Jackson. WLBT reported:
The property is at 5572 Pine Lane Drive and is owned by VB One, LLC. VB One, LLC is in turn owned by VB OP Holdings, LLC of Dallas, Texas. VB One and its sister companies, VB Ten, LLC and VB Nine, LLC, own hundreds of properties in Jackson as well.
Kingfish note: So much for making it easier to prosecute squatters. For some reason, the Horhn Administration whiffs on prosecuting squatters even though the law was toughened this year.

Horne has failed us as mayor. The police chief decision alone did him in. Honestly I promoted and believed in John as mayor but so far he’s sucked

It's not like anybody's gonna check the buzzard droppings on top of the old Courthouse Gym, for DNA, to see if those gone missing (not that anyone would miss them) have been snacked-upon by the flocks of buzzards eating corpses scattered among the weeds, all over Jackson (when not interrupted by the numerous packs of wild dogs). The buzzards prefer to safely roost across the river from Jacktown, in Flowood.
I cannot wrap my head around the difference between a "squatter" versus a "trespasser" or "burglar". The whole squatter thing is bullshit.
The Blow Horhn should convert the zoo into Squatter's Gardens, with a tent and a water accessible garden plot for the "unhutted". Then they are henceforth responsible for their own wellbeing. Horhn could compost winos who transpired into the plot for the new unhutted wino to occupy it.
