Idiots of the Day: JA Edition

Somebody call Jackson Prep and tell the owner they are on the clock!

Today's Idiots of the Day award goes to......

The abortion protestors who showed up in front of Jackson Academy as kids arrived at school this morning.  Oh yes, never mind abortion is illegal in Mississippi as facts never get in the way of some people.

The dozen or so protestors lined the pre-school and carpool line along the Sheffield Drive on the sidewalk and showed off their bloody abortion signs.  Needless to say, parents were not happy having to explain it all to their pre-school children.  Train up a child the way he should go, right, protestors?  Did I mention some protestors were wearing body cams as they obviously hoped for a confrontation.

Unfortunately for the interlopers, they did not get what they wanted.  The band was practicing on the football field at the time so it simply moved the practice to near the protest.   One protestor prepared for such an event and brought his little loudspeaker but the Capitol Police quickly shut that down although he was allowed to yell to his heart's content.  Jackson Academy staff escorted children into the school as they arrived.

Jackson Academy sent out this text message to families:

One neighbor pointed out to a protestor that abortion is illegal in Mississippi.  The protestor replied although it is banned in Mississippi, it is still legal in other states.  Since he and his fellow protestors live here, they feel called to protest here.  The people of Virginia undoubtedly got the message.

A protestor was overhead saying they would protest again at Jackson Preparatory School in the next two weeks.

Kingfish note: Some people just love attention.  Guess what, dumbasses, you won.  The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Even Fox News reported it.  The Mississippi legislature banned abortion with no exceptions.  Period.   Do you really think you are changing anyone's minds with this crap?  What gives the game away are the body cams.  These simpletons are not concerned Christians but troublemakers who want to start some crap so they can turn around and sue and that, my friends, is the bottom line.

If anyone has any pictures, email them to kingfish1935@gmail.com.

You nailed it, Idiots.

These idiot abortion protesters are such disgusting, vile, hideous humans that they could not get laid anyway. Pregnancy should be irrelevant to them anyway.

Anonymous said...

This is so nonsensical to do it at a Christian private school it almost makes me believe it is designed to purposely piss off Christian and pro-life parents against the pro-life movement.

Anonymous said...

All these "protest" groups no matter what the agenda are working the grift. It is completely idiotic to bring said grift to a dang pre-school !!

Krusatyr said...

KF is right. Stupid insulting protest against those who already oppose abortion. Motive for this is suspicious, such as to appeal to some students to become pro-abortion radicals?

Anonymous said...

Why am I not surprised that someone who sounds like a godless sodomite on the radio, supports abortion?

Anonymous said...

It would be so strange for a rational person to pick this location and approach. It almost does seem like a paid counter-intelligence ploy or something.

Anonymous said...

I wouldn't assume that everyone at JA is against abortion. They just know how to keep their heads down. There are plenty of pro-choice parents who send their kids to JA.

Anonymous said...

They have been at Jackson Prep twice this year already.

Anonymous said...

Everyone should be aware of the evils of abortion! Spare the child and they may grow up to be a nasty, blue haired liberal who thinks the government shouldn't have rights over a person's body!

Anonymous said...

It’s not a protest so much as a group of people trying to rage bait someone into hitting them so they can file a lawsuit.

Anonymous said...

What does JA have to with abortion

Anonymous said...

These people had children out there holding signs with them. Why are these children not in school? If you need to wear body cameras because you are worried about something happening while you terrorize the kindergarten carpool line, then surely it is not safe for your young children to be there with you. Perhaps CPS needs to be consulted about the dangerous situations these adults are placing these poor children into. I also hope that a certain local attorney had their van towed from in front of his home.

It is going to be hard for anyone to top 10:08's comment.

Why at Jackson Academy and Jackson Prep? Rich pockets to sue? They blocked Lakeland Drive in front of Jackson Prep several weeks ago. I thought that they were mistaking the school for an abortion clinic. Do these people have jobs? Is this another case of the facts don't matter just what they want to believe the facts are?

Abortion protestors who have made that their whole lives are the proverbial dogs that caught the bus. They won, now what do they do? I'm really curious how these people are funded to not be at work, and they usually have minors with them that aren't in school. Everything about them is fishy.

Anonymous said...

Some people are angry a-holes looking for a righteous cause to take it out on someone else, so they be a-holes and still fell good about themselves at the same time.

Anonymous said...

Not all Christians, especially not all Christian women are opposed to abortions in the first trimester or when the life of the mother is the issue. That includes a Catholic who was staunchly anti-abortion until she thought she was pregnant at 49 and already had two grown kids and one on her way to college! She was pre- menopausal. We assume the health risks of pregnancies, not the men. And some of us know puberty is staring much younger! Look it up so you know when to have " the talk"...it's not when they are teens!

Was it the Westboro Baptist clowns?

Anonymous said...

you are a vile human being if you believe that subjecting small children to this stuff is necessary and something they need for proper development. This goes for anyone who is pro or no, keep kids away from your lunacy!

Anonymous said...

They need to deploy some LRAD’s to offer protesters free hearing tests.

Anonymous said...

Did Capitol Police get the NAMES of the protesters?

Anonymous said...

Is this protest misguided? Yes.
More disgusting is the display by people who think that chopping up people is fine and dandy.

Anonymous said...

Definitely a bunch of liberal parents at JA. But hey, they're all for Capitol Police, I'm sure

Anonymous said...

Wait so the JA marching band just went and lined up near the protestors to serenade them? This is the first time I've ever said something nice about the JA marching band, but that's very cool.

Anonymous said...

No, 11:53, the Westboro crew almost DISAPPEARED.... bus-and-all, when they were scheduled to picket a military funeral in Rankin County. Unfortunately, they got wind of those "plans", and cancelled (similar hospitality arrangements were made for them, in Madison County, and they cancelled their "engagement" there, too).

Rankin County had its Gold Coast (see Jackson Jambalaya archives), and Madison County had a similar (although possibly MORE murderous) scene, along the railroad tracks. Those families are still around, and are now "prominent". They have their ways... Much of their land, they bought when their "granddads" were still bootlegging & brothelkeeping. Other land, they essentially stole from Madison County's landowning Black families.

Just as noise from the Madison Airport's flight school is protected, in order to drive people farther-out, onto areas those families own and are developing, protests at JA and Prep serve the interests of the Carpetbagger/Gold Coast dynasties: making people unhappy, so they'll MOVE farther-out.

Destruction of Jackson, in-general, profits those families.

Of course, many people choose to (rather than moving farther-out) LEAVE MISSISSIPPI. So, we have those Carpetbagger/Gold Coast dynasties to thank, for some of Mississippi's Brain Drain.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, you aren't a Christian if you are pro-abortion, and you shouldn't send your kids to JA as we don't want your barbaric evil around our kids. Send them to St. Andrews.

Anonymous said...

Are they even Mississippians?

Anonymous said...

Its odd they don't protest at Murrah or Forest Hill...are they racist and therefore don't want to save black babies?

Anonymous said...

If I just so happened to throw some bear spray out of my truck that was accidently going off during carpool drop off, would I just get a littering ticket?

Anonymous said...

...that they could not get laid anyway.

What a thoughtful comment.

Anonymous said...

The protesters live off welfare. They are unemployed and probably unemployable. They'd save more lives if they protested Robert Kennedy, Jr's unscientific, idiotic stance on vaccinations, especially the measles vaccine. But that's not as sexy to them as public screeching and terrorizing small children with gruesome images of aborted fetuses.

Anonymous said...

... someone who sounds like a godless sodomite ...

You must have personal experience with godless sodomites to provide such an authoritative statement.

Anonymous said...

Plenty? How many? I don't think you really know.

Anonymous said...

good chance they are financially hurting and want a payout, going to rich private schools. Im sure they wont be going to murrah high

Anonymous said...

There appear to be quite a few of your readers who can't read with comprehension. I agree with the protestor's right in a public space to try to educate the po' lttle sheltered kids growing up far right wing, 1st Pres, 1st Baptist hater households, who wouldn't recognize the words of Jesus if they were slapped in the face with them. Yes, abortion is illegal in Mississippi. Opposition to anti abotion law isn't illegal; it's every citizen's right. Your commenters who oppose this right are anti-American, anti Constitution.

Anonymous said...

This is how I know you're all bluster and no substance. The Constitution doesn't give anyone a right to anything. Opposing the protest doesn't make anyone anti- anything. In fact, it is citizens exercising their own God-given right to an opinion that differs from those protesting. So, in essence, you're a hypocrite. Denying commenters their right to opine strictly because the opinion differs from yours. See: Fascist

Anonymous said...

Who EXACTLY were the protesters (NAMES!) and what were their REAL motives for doing what they were doing?

Anonymous said...

"who wouldn't recognize the words of Jesus if they were slapped in the face with them."

And I'm sure you are itching for the opportunity to do just that.

Anonymous said...

Kingfish, I hope you get wind of when they will be at Prep. Then you can get the pictures and show us these idiots.
I have one question for you to ask them, “How are you ‘making disciples of all nations’ with your actions today?”

Anonymous said...

I see little-to-no (genuine) opposition to abortion among the comments. Certain posters are PRETENDING, for purposes of parody. And some are paid trolls (or AI), attempting to create discord. So, relax, 2:42!

By the way: the 'Hater Households' long-ago moved out into the counties, and attend the many cheaply-constructed churches on various 'Church Warehouse Rows'.

Just as people now cynically construct McMansions as cheaply as is possible - lots of particle board, and tarpaper roofs ("because 'THEY' will eventually move-in, like they always do, and then we'll have to move again, so why bother: you'll never get your money out of it"), congregations build their new, replacement sanctuaries to the same standards as all the other cheap, metal-framed buildings used for everything else.

When you're taxed-to-the-hilt, have your savings nullified by inflation, and lead an existence which consists of nothing but being enrolled in programs and participating in sports programs - before being enrolled in expensive and excruciatingly-long end-of-life "care" scenarios which can last for decades.... you tend not to care much, anymore.

(oh, and don't forget working endless hours, to PAY FOR private schooling - Pre-K-Terminal-Degree - and for the disposable McMansion and the disposable warehouse-style church you know you'll have to abandon as soon as "they" take it over... ...and the Dogooder Tourism jaunts which serve to enrich the kids' Curricula Vitae so they can get into med school... ...so THEY can pay for another generation's miserable up-before-dawn school-attending and sports-participating and grade-grubbing and churcheyfaithing.

But Heaven forbid you should OPT-OUT, since the only thing the warehouse churches are allowed to HATE, these days, is sexually-nonstandard people: and not having the exact number of babies your(spouse included) degrees/certifications will guarantee you'll have the MONEY to keep on that pre-k-terminal-degree treadmill (your 'Personal Optimized QUIVERFULL!')....makes you 'Sexually Nonstandard', and thus eligible for being hated.

No, 1B and 1st Pres are NOT for the haters. They're more likely to contain erudite, cosmopolitan people who live in leafy old neighborhoods constructed before The Cotton Panic of 1925. And the men wear neckties. And nobody's chewing gum up in church with the TV cameras running. And there's a dignified minister, who's not running around dressed like a lumberjack, playing the part of 'Young Brother Relevant', with his undershirt showing.

Kingfish, you are right. I am pro-life, and I find this both puzzling and disturbing. What are they trying to accomplish besides garnering attention? Yes, they have the 1A right to do this. They just don't have the sense not to do it.

Anonymous said...

Just like you know how many are pro-life. I guess you could count license plates. Regardless, this is Mississippi and there are plenty of pro-choice men and women out there who just aren't going to get into an argument over the issue. Remember the "personhood" referendum a few years ago? It got crushed 2:1.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
