Jim Brinson is a great catch. The best of the best.
Meet the new boss....
Hertzog & Brinson have tenure with DPS. Congratulations men !
What happened to former deputy
Well, whoever is now in charge of the MHP needs to get a handle on their embarrassing employees. From hot-headed and out of control meat heads, to sex-to-text nudie drama, the MHP has been a state-wide embarrassment for years. They need to hire better candidates and flush those that don’t hold the standard.
Worst highway patrol in the nation.
Brinson is a great guy and best choice to lead MS Office of Homeland Security!
You’re right, a Trooper arrested an intoxicated Law Officer in Covington County, the arrestee had clout! It was alleged that the Trooper was told not to show up for court, you guessed it, he didn’t and the case was dismissed! I read that the Trooper was suspended for 5 days, yea right a smoke cloud! What a freaking shit show! The Commander of Troop J and the Trooper should be investigated! Id like to see if the Justice Court Clerks are sending convicted DUI stats to DPS, some yes and others no! This shit is alleged to be going on for years! Seems like a corrupt system with no checks and balances. Business as usual in good ole Mississippi.
Worst highway patrol in the nation.
Opinion, not fact.
Chair Force
Congratulations Jim! Jim is that a corduroy Jacket you are wearing, If it is I hope that picture was taken in the winter. Again Congrats.
I would say it is as close to fact as you can get.
Reasonable appointments, folks with a track record.
More telling is pushing the Driver Service Bureau, the division that has by far the most interaction with every day citizens, as deep into the organization as possible, then wonder why many complaints about services.
Certainly no expert but curious to combine MBN into MBI. MBI generally "investigates" crimes that have occurred, MBN builds cases on crimes in progress, doesn't seem like the two would be very compatible.
7:22 start out as decent Troopers but get sucked up in the politics of helping some folks. I see it as a leadership problem, the troop commanders!
HB1612 passed the House 114-6 and the Senate 50-2. So if you have a bitch, er, complaint contact your Representative and Senator who most likely voted for the changes.
Trooper are still very pissed about the "new" DPS. They don't think it's right that non-troopers are now on their retirement system. They believe you MUST be a trooper to be MBI. They hate that Capital Police got all the new shiny cars. They despise the new DPS academy (formally trooper school). They are a complete waste of resources. They barely work past dark (unless called out for a wreck). They don't know how to investigate and would be terrified to work a domestic. "BuT wE aRe ThE mOsT eLiTe LaW eNfOrCeMeNt AgEnCy In ThE sTaTe."
This hire will not help.
Your keyboard malfunctioned at the end of your comment.
True but Tindell pushed the bill. It would have never been drafted without his backdoor requests. Just like his request to make himself a sworn law enforcement officer without attending any law enforcement training academy.
Ask Rankin Co. Sheriff Bailey.
It was his son in law who got the preferential treatment in that case
Jim Brinson kicks ass with that corduroy jacket, that is fire!!!
I bet James didn't get that tie at Kinkade's
Someone should ask the people of Lost Rabbit what they think of this.
